recommend for a smart gate lock - Got it at $208 to replace my last one; so yes I’ve had 2 of these.
Mine broke due to ants getting into it - they got inside the gate and went through the deadlock hole, I’ve sealed this all up now. the body of the device is actually really sealed. Amazon replaced anyway (refund/rebuy)
Honestly I love it, battery lasts all year, keypad unlock with heaps of codes, can give a code to the dog walker that only works on the day he comes, fingerprint works a treat and runs in HA so an unlock activates lights or disables camera push to iPad dashboard etc. no local HA integration tho so it is a tad slow going through Samsung smartthings but hey it works.
