The Mezcal is also on a great deal but I find it way too smoky for my tastes.

  growing up doing shots of 'tequila' and instantly regretting it, i was so turned off by even the word tequila…
  Now in my 40's, i quite enjoy Casamigos blanco on the rocks. I find the blanco to be the best version, even distill a very similar version myself :).

  Certainly pretty cheap, but worth noting (for anyone who cares) that Casamigos is definitely not additive free tequila (contains glycerin and colouring) and there's a bit of contention about whether it's actually all agave alcohol too.
