  • Wait for shop back cashback

      • …and not everyone doesn't

      • Not everyone shops at Woolworths or is an Everyday Rewards customer

        • Not everyone has a mobile phone.
Naah, who am I kidding 😆

  • If I'm currently with Optus monthly-post-plan, can I transfer my same number to this prepaid plan?

    • It says new services only, but you can just buy a $2 sim with any telco and port out and back into Optus.

        • Any telco should work. I recently used a Telstra $2 sim and ported an existing number from Amaysim out and back in for one of their starter kit. It only took 15 minute all up.

If you're referring to keeping an active number for the cheapest plan for up to a year then Amaysim or Aldi is your best bet.

            • @xwx: When I ported into Telstra, they did ask if you wanted to recharge and I clicked no and ported out as soon the service was active. Not sure on how other telco works, so might be best to double check their website before using them.

  • Need to churn from Boost soon. Is there any good reason why I should get this over the current Amaysim deal with cashback? https://www.shopback.com.au/amaysim-mobile

    • Amaysim is same price $199, right?

      • Yep, with $90 cash back…so basically half price

      • Amaysim is 240GB

      • amaysim seems better value for a decent amount of data (after cashback)

    • For how long we have to port out for ? Thanks

    • Why do you need to churn? Can't you just get something like https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/966906

  • Can’t beat the $70 for Optus 365 prepaid sim deal with shopback cashback.

    • Which plan is that? link?

      • It’s this sim. There was a finder gift Visa card thing going for a bit where you pay $220 and get $150 Visa gift card as reward. No longer available. They ran out pretty quickly when it went online.

  • When do you have to activate it by?

    • Activate within 30 days of purchase or by date advertised on the promotion, whichever is earlier.

  • Does this have actual 5G or is this their capped nonsense?

    • No it’s capped. Both speed capped and coverage capped. You only get access to the 5G NSA network.

  • Where is shopback?

  • Has anyone other than OP has actually seen this?

    • Yes bought one in store today with everyday extra 10% discount and a $20 gift card and came down to $151. Cheers OP!

  • Trying to find a Woolies that actually carries this in stock and between this godawful website and app I can't find anyone who carries the 300GB version near Blacktown.
