  • Does this mean we have to shop there now to get the QR Code for in the future. Are you sure the date range is for everyone and not just a unique offer for you (2 weeks after your purchase)?

    • I did it 3 times today by accident and I received 3 unique QR codes

      • So a purchase is required to obtain this offer?

      • is the $35 off only for in-store purchases 'cos i need a delivery order (not in-store) that is in excess of $150 spend which would quality me for the $35?

        • It explicitly says "in store" on the voucher. Same situation as you. I need to place an online order, cause no room in the car. Will see if we split and buy at least $150 that fits in the car…

    • Yes. Need to shop in-store once to get a voucher.
I shopped in-store and paid ~$160. Got one voucher.
The next day, paid $700 online - no voucher.
Then shopped in-store and paid $5. Got another voucher.

      • Thanks for testing.

      • did the qr codes look different?

        • it's for in store purchase only like Averall learned.

and like with all "IKEAFAMILY" vouchers, you have to scan your membership (blue App QR code) to get the voucher, and the voucher is tied to your membership.

that's why nobody was picking up and taking the vouchers left behind and they were piling up because others can't use them.

  • Great way to stock up on some Ladda batteries.

  • Annoying that it always excludes food. Want to buy the horsemeat meatballs for cheap

    • There’s a way. You don’t specifically buy it at the food stalls. You just bring a bag to the other checkout area if you know what I mean

I normally do that for my local IKEA, as both the food and other checkout is near each other. I just walk across, grab a bag, and then scan at the other checkout

      • I never thought of that! Thanks for the idea

      • 8.33 Bags of meatballs it is then. Thank you

    • Pretty sure they're not real horse meat, despite the heritage. Horse meat is very hard to find. Last time I got some horse steaks I had to get them brought over from Perth in an esky.

  • The closest IKEA is too far for me to justify 2 visits in a month 😩

  • Snagged Ikea voucher in the store today during my purchase

    • did you get $35 off next purchase? does it have to be in-store versus online? What was your min. spend?

      • 35$ off on min spend of 150$. It have to be in-store purchase(from what I remember from the bill/printout)

  • anyone near a store willing to go and stock up on the codes? :D

    • You almost certainly can only use one voucher per purchase.
But you can strategically split your Pax purchase into smaller components of $150+

  • I got one. Spent $2

  • Did anyone get this after making a purchase with a $10 birthday voucher ($50 minimum spend)?

  • Has anyone used this with Pax and also received the 15% off in addition to this voucher?
The T&Cs for the current 15% family discount states can’t be used in conjunction with any other offer so just checking if anyone hmcsn confirm if both 15> off plus the $35 voucher work at the same time.

  • Voucher valid from 25 July to 9 August,

thought this need to be pointed out. can't use it straight away.

  • I got a voucher for the same dates (25 July-9 August) after I went there on 10/7/26. Guess I'll hold off on buying a new desk for a couple of weeks

    • what sucks is they had a massive sale that ended yesterday. saw a few new items were 40% off. this coupon would have made it a instant buy. but it wasn't possible unfortunately, I actually planned on going until I saw the Valid date for voucher.

  • my friend went today they said so many normies (not ozbers) are un aware of the promo and leaving their coupons behind (probably because they just rip the receipt out as soon as it prints).

    • for hte user that disagrees.

the receipt is split, it gets a cut after your normal receipt, then the voucher is a separate receipt, so if you tear it too quickly the voucher tears off stays in the machine or falls to the ground.

      • Recently, with the discounts, people were better off buying those items heavily discounted (50% or more), rather than going / waiting for this deal.

Furthermore, that voucher is so easy to get, just buy the cheapest item at Ikea (one of those less than $1 items) and you can get that voucher. I have 3 already. When I returned an item, even a refund could trigger that voucher being printed.

        • Recently, with the discounts, people were better off buying those items heavily discounted (50% or more), rather than going / waiting for this deal.

yeah kind of agree actually. but the items I was seeing were about max 40% off, newer items though so more appealing. but $35 off $150 that's really decent if you can have it apply to a item in future sale around that price after 40%~50% off.

yes the voucher is easy to get, need to scan membership though (pretty sure the voucher only works with the membership it was printed with). but yes so many people simply not aware when buying cheap stuff, and just leaving the vouchers behind.

          • @skibidigrimacmoggr67: I wouldn't assume that's the case. It's possible those people aren't interested. To maximise the benefit, you need to buy an item that's $150 or just above it. Ikea items in that price range, honestly, are best wait till a heavy discount is available.

Ikea items might be good from far, but they are certainly far from good.

            • @netsurfer:

It's possible those people aren't interested.

oh ok. yeah but that's why I said normies. a ozb user wouldn't pass off a $30 off $150 voucher would they?? even if it applies at future date.

Ikea items might be good from far, but they are certainly far from good.

I agree their quality has gone down a lot in the last few years especially when they started using recycled plastics, I've already discussed with a ozb user here how they regularly change designs on their "good repuration products" and replace them with similar looking but poor quality (one was a laundry basket, I have the original still looks clean and hasn't broken in years, but others were experiencing the stitching around the bag handle come undone in months, I noticed they were slightly different in pictures so it was a "updated (or should I saw downdated 😅 product).
but there are still good finds which are decently priced. just really need to hear feedback from others who already bought certain products.

I've been very happy with my $50 Poang chair btw posted on ozb.

              • @skibidigrimacmoggr67: Honestly, I struggle to think of anything worth buying with the voucher (and I have 3). I don't even know where I put them. I actually wish Ikea gives me an option whether I want one printed. It's cheaper for me to buy something less than $1 to get free parking than paying the parking and each time I do that, another voucher gets printed.

$50 Poang chair… even you bought a heavily discounted Ikea item, rather than wait and use this voucher.

                • @netsurfer:

yes I agree. definitely should just be added to the app since you scan it anyway.

$50 Poang chair… even you bought a heavily discounted Ikea item, rather than wait and use this voucher.

this was awhile ago but yeah $50 won't be enough for voucher $150 minimum spend.

                • @netsurfer: came back to say, in the end you were right.

now that the app says current Sale ending the 10th August. and this voucher expires 9th August, and the item I wanted before isn't on sale, I wish I had just bought it at 40% off together with the purchase I made for the voucher.

I would have had the thing for 3 weeks already instead of hoping for extra $35 off with the next sale. to make it even worse it's out of stock in the colour I wanted, and probably would have stayed that way even if I could use the voucher on it, so I would have no chance to buy at all even if it was on sale.

not sure if you could tell but I don't live next to a IKEA so I don't shop there often. I don't have a car either so it's not often I can go and I need at least a mix of small/medium Sale items in cart or one big item to actually make it worth it. not going to waste time by going just for 1 small item.

either way I guess those more familiar with IKEA like you, or as you said others who could see ahead and just leave the receipts behind because they already bought what they wanted.
I just made a decision in the moment that I already bought more than a couple things, and the item I want turned out to be $160 which is so close to $150 I thought I would save the voucher and save even more extra.
                  pepega moment for me. 🐸

  • Anyone know if the vouchers are still being printed this weekend or was it only during the week?

    • Answered my own question. I got it today

  • I just got off the phone with Ikea and they are saying you will get the qr code with any purchase up to the 8th of August. I asked her to again confirm this and she said yes.

Hopefully this is true as im not going until mid next week

  • Well weirdly enough i didnt feel like the lady over the phone heard me right so i did online chat as well. They said the qr code receipt part of it ends tomorrow end of close. Id share a screenshot but dont know how to attach

  • Oh I missed this

Anyone has a spare voucher you don't use that I can have?

    • people report above that its attached to your ikea family account so a spare voucher without scanning your ikea family card is useless

  • Just came back from IKEA. Tried paying with cc or gift card - no luck. Looks like the promotion is over.

  • I also just came back from Ikea in WA and made a $7.99 purchase and no extra voucher/code :(
Anyone confirm it has officially ended?

  • Went to ikea yesterday and made ~$60 purchase, no voucher on receipt

    • Are you still after a receipt sir?
Happy to give you one of mine if you wanna meet after work

      • Haha I'm good but thank you!

      • Hey just happened to see this can I please get it if still availble? I am in Canberra too. Thanks!

        • Sure can :)
Whereabouts are you in Canberra? I’m mostly around the Forrest area during work days

Happy to send you a screenshot of the receipt if that’s easier

  • anyone have any spares (VIC - Springvale) planning to make a $200 purchase this weekend =(

  • Can confirm you can use multiple vouchers in multiple transactions.

Just used four for four $150 transactions at ikea.

Can also confirm NO MEMBERSHIP NEEDED! Simply scan the qr code.

So feel free to use anybody else’s vouchers if you have, as I used 3 from my friends, no issues.
    get your stuff asap!

  • Can confirm the voucher stacks with discounted Pax prices. Multiple transactions through self check out no worries.

  • I thought this was available until the 26th, I need 10 of them.

  • OP, do you have any voucher spare? Would really appreciate one if you do? Or if anyone else reading has.

    • Sorry mate, I only have one spare left, and saving it just in case if I need any more ikea furnitures

  • Does anyone have a spare voucher? Would appreciate if you can share
