  • RRP is crazy

    • I saw the RRP and knew there had to be AI built into this somehow.

  • We want the Chinese version, with all the specs. Not the Toyota version.

    • Who is we?

    • is the Au version bad?

  • Is this 5 years or 7 years warranty? The box is showing 7 years whereas the description said 5 years.

    • Downvoted to oblivion for making a valid point

      • Downvoted for being an ass, everybody knows what razors are so clearly they are choosing electric shavers because that is their preference.

  • Great device. Have been using it since the last deal. Consistently good shaves.

    • I’ve had it a few months now it’s great, I like how it carves through 3-4 day old stubble where as my old braun 9 would miss hairs if you didn’t shave daily

    • I've always been disappointed with electrics because they're not as close as a razor. I'd fork out the money for one that is. Would you say this shaves as close as a razor?

      • It's not possible for an electric to shave as close as a razor because there's always a layer of metal between your skin and the blade.

  • The silver one is $349 without cleaning pod

  • This one is better price $249

    Doesn't have the senseIQ pro
I have checking what is the difference

    • Not same product

      • Yeah, I found this is the ultra prestige. Top of the line. I started looking into this as a replacement for my series 9000 (7yrs old) but now diving into the foil shavers, reviewing Panasonic and Braun

        • Are you a daily shaver or a lazy shaver? Daily the Braun is prob better , lazy (every other day) this is better. I just came off 12 years on Braun 9

          • @Onemoredeal: I am in between. I use electric shaver every second day but also have to use the razor twice a week to do a clean up on the neck as the electric shaver misses there.

          • @Onemoredeal: I’m once or twice a week. Sometimes I use hair clippers as a round 1 before using my Braun. Been generally happy with Brauns (owned them for 30 years), but keep looking at alternatives and chickening out.

  • Got this deliveried yesterday, and shame the Philips cuting the charging to save $1 cost.

    • How would you rate this one's shave mate? Would you say this shaves as close as a razor?

      • sorry I don't use razor at all, don't remember ever try it. I don't have lots bear so this work fine for me, being using it many decades. I havn't try this new one, but I have used the first version of S9000 Prestige for many years since released, it does shave a bit better than my previous cheaper model, 5000 series I think, and battery last very well. And the feel of material of first gen is definitely better than this latest model.

        • mine delivered yesterday too. feel a bit plastic for a top range model.

  • AI Powered Shaving

    Ugh.

  • I just found that Philips have a money back guarantee, so it may buy it and give it a go.

    • yup. I just did same couple months ago. From memory bought it for 599, shave was dissapointing so returned on money back guarantee. Comparing to my daily Gillette Fusion 5.

  • I have these fanatics shaver. Daily head shaver. Worlds a treatment just need to replace the head more often which can be around ~$80.

    • Your middle sentence made sense

  • now unavailable?

    • Available again FYI.

  • If this was Panasonic, I'd jump on a heartbeat.
