  • Anyone got a link to the ultra at these prices? Can't seem to find it.

  • Geat phone, love that its not massive like all other phones these days. Cant see myself using anything else.

    • I used to think the same, but after upgrading to an Ultra I can't see myself going back to the "standard" range, both in terms of reliability and screen size.

      • Reliability?

Still using my S9 as my daily…

        • Yep, I still have my S21 5G that I use as my work phone, but it's nowhere near as snappy and responsive as my S23 Ultra. Hard to explain until you've tried it yourself. Maybe it's just personal preference, but I have little to zero tolerance for any sort of lag.

    • I'm sad that we've reached a stage where this phone isn't considered huge! Really hope there's a new wave of compact phones coming out in the next few years.

      • 3-fold is more compact. You need bigger pockets ;)

        • Nah even tried a Samsung flip a few times, even when folded they're pretty hefty. Sticking with my 13 Mini as long as I can.

    • I agree, I just sold mine to replace it with the S26 Ultra and I miss it already.

  • Will Officeworks price match promo?

    • No. Coupon code deals are excluded

  • It's $60 off so my total came to $827. How to get to $815?

    • Make sure to select the "Price Check" button, not "Add to Cart".

  • Also you can add your 90 Day Store Cash Credit which reduce price down to $795.

  • Great opportunity to buy considering the S26 Exynothanks SoC.

  • I'm looking for an S25+ deal for under $900. Would that be achievable anywhere?

    • Not that I've seen.

    • Same, but I think the s25+ is pretty much out of stock now and I don't think they're coming back.

  • How does this stack up against a 17e if you didnt care about the ecosystem?

    • Destroys it honestly. The display alone knocks it out of the water.

      • OK ill give it a try. Fairly sure im going to hate the size and the OS but lets see. (Coming from iPhone 13 Mini)

        • It should be noted the 17e competes with the S25FE and not the S25 which is a flagship model.

    • Moved to 16e from s23.happy user. I use home bridge to control my smart devices

    • They're from different tiers, S25 is a flagship, iPhone 17e is upper midrange.

      • Galaxy S Ultra = iPhone Pro / Pro Max
      • Galaxy S Edge = iPhone Air
      • Galaxy S / S+ = iPhone (base)
      • Galaxy S FE / Galaxy A7# = iPhone e
  • Great phone, sweet spot in recent generations if you want a small(er) phone.
S25 has: long 7-year software support (since S24), 12GB RAM (S24 has only 8GB), Snapdragon 8 Elite (S26 has Exynos), good price (compared to S26).

  • Been considering this as an upgrade for my S21 5G..

Also considering the Xiaomi 17. What are people's thoughts, also I need 512gb…

Might just hang fire if my S21 will hold out till next year (I am not a big phone person - in that I like to buy a half-decent one that lasts 5+ years!)

My only main issue is the battery is pretty deteriorated and charging port needs a replacement at some stage.

    • In the same boat and considering this deal.

Tip for the charger port, it does get built up with gunk, to create a poor charger connection, check with a torch, and gently using paperclip or something similar to clean it out, air duster can assist.

      • Yeah I've done that got a lot of gunk out, but I still have to use certain cables as others just fall out.

I got the S21 5g for $429 and I don't think there are deals anything like that anymore. Even this deal is nearly double that price!

Battery life is my main annoyance but it's barely an issue as I'm not far from a charger.

  • Thanks got one to replace my Edge 50 Neo.

Held off on the HN Ultra deal as I thought it was too big but this one seems to be a better size.

Hopefully the battery stays healthy for longer than 2 years unlike previous Galaxy phones I've had

    • I made the same move about 2 months ago. There were some regrets but there isn't much choice at the small size end of market. I have accepted it now.

Battery doesn't last as long as Moto 50 Neo. Also charges slower.

Camera is better than Moto 50 Neo but not by THAT much as people say IMO.

One UI is so bloated compared to Moto. So much AI crap they force on you.

You get much better display, premium build and OS support…much faster SOC but TBH doesn't feel it day to day use.

      • Awww man that sux. The camera is the only thing letting down the Neo and I was really hoping that this would be a decent upgrade

        • it's definitely a step up from the moto camera. better low light. but it's not as good as what I had expected. it's well known the camera system in S25 is a couple of years old and they haven't really updated it.

Moto 50 neo was great bang for buck as most of us got it at a great low price. so paying double the price for S25 and taking some steps back just made bad sense.

Like I said i was after a smaller lighter phone and did get it at 2x the price for 1% gain. haha.

Re battery there's multiple modes to extend life of battery but I am planning to upgrade in 2027 when new phones arrive with EU mandated removable battery features come back to mobile phones.

        • oh one more negative. S25 does not come with a charger!

          • @hippo2s: That's actually a positive for me, I don't need yet another charger to sit in a drawer gathering dust!

          • @hippo2s: That's ok. My Neo came with a 60w charger. Was such good value.

            • @BigTacoBandit: not for me as I had to sell the neo so the 68W charger went with it.

  • Galaxy Unpacked is in 9 days time… could it go cheaper then?

    • unlikely. the event is for announcing Fold models not the S line.

  • Bought for $838.70 in June 2025

  • I thought I would give some feedback:

I just sold my S25 512GB, I got it on a deal for around $550 18 months ago? Something like that.

Just sold it for $700, and upgraded to the S26 Ultra. This thing feels like a BRICK! Honestly I had a Pixel 8 Pro and the S25 base model felt AMAZING.

S26 U feels heavy, strains my wrist more than the S25 which is SO LIGHT.
Performance feels the same, screen feels the same(tho my S26 looks a bit more dull? It could be a setting).

The camera on both doesn't compare to the Pixel, esp with quick photos. Alot of BLURRED photos from both Samsungs.

I am 186cms tall, and i can't text with one hand anymore and the S26 U doesn't fit in my pocket well. The S25 was great, one handed texting & super light. It would fit in my front pocket too! I wish the camera was better, maybe on par with S26 U.

Anyways I will deal with this phone, but moving forward look for a Pixel Pro deal(Normal size) or another future S27 base model.

I have a laptop, I dont need a huge screen and i barely notice a difference.

The Battery feels better on the S26 U, i am not sure what else I have noticed that's positive LOL.

    My little review,!

    • Agree, the lightness of S25 is underrated.
I upgraded from S24+ because the S24+ was heavy in pocket and daily usage. The S25, with the official case, is much lighter and more comfortable to use. I appreciated the improvement so much that I thought the official case was worth its price ($80 something).

    • Yeh had a similar experience with the s25U so downsized to the s25+. It's just light enough not quite one hand'able but you can get by there with all of Samsung's multitude of QOL solutions they implement.
