They are not exactly 1460s but they seem pretty close.

    Mostly contruction. These would have a cemented sole with the stitching just for aesthetics, the 1460s have the traditional welted sole and proper stitching. Also leather options, wyoming black is softer and has a more rugged grain compared to their typical stiff, highly treated 'smooth' leather.

    FWIW even though these aren't as well made and you sacrifice repairability, I like them more, at least in the chelsea style I have. I prefer the leather grain and they don't take an eternity of pain to break them in.

    I like how these have a flatter toe. I find the huge toe on the 1460 looks like a clowns shoe.

  I bought a black pair last week as I was very long overdue for some new shoes.

  I've had terrible luck choosing shoe sizing online. However, I matched sizing to an old pair of Docs in my cupboard (10+ years old) and the new ones fit perfectly.

  I liked them so much that I bought a brown pair too. At the time, the brown was down to $110, but looks like many sizes have gone back up in price.

  Had these for a few years and I can attest it being a solid boot that is comfortable even at long distances.

  However, the laces are of poor quality and started fraying early on, and the toebox is quite prone to creasing if you don't pick the right size (I could've went 0.5 sizes down I suppose).
