85% off Secret Premium Barossa Shiraz 2017 6-Pack $96 ($16/Bottle, RRP $720) Delivered @ Dozen Deals

SUPERSUPER

We've secured a tiny parcel of premium 2017 Barossa Shiraz that's had the benefit of extended bottle age and is now drinking beautifully.

Originally sold at $120 per bottle direct from the winery, this museum-release Shiraz is now available at a fraction of the price due to some label damage. While a number of bottles have cosmetic label imperfections, the wine itself has been carefully cellared and is in excellent condition.

Expect generous layers of blackberry, dark plum and black cherry, complemented by dark chocolate, spice and beautifully integrated oak. Years of bottle age have brought the wine into perfect balance, with silky tannins and a long, complex finish.

Please note: some bottles have label damage; however, the wine itself is in excellent condition. The cosmetic imperfections are the only reason we're able to offer this wine at such an exceptional price.

  • AI suggests it might be the Chateau Yaldara 1847 Grand Pappy's Barossa Valley Shiraz 2017

  • Schmick Shiraz Museum Release

    • Of the 3 suggestions to date this seems the ebst fit.

      • Purchased…..so I really hope it is Schmick which is absolutely bloody delicious.

  • Most likely Lights Valley Colonel Shiraz 2017

    • I think it is this as well.

    • They claim "4.2 Vivino".4.1 is the Vivino score for Lights Valley. But they have been known to get the ratings wrong before.

      • 2017 vintage is 4.2

    • Can confirm is Lights Valley Colonel Shiraz 2017.

      Delivered today.

    • You were right!

  • You got me. Just purchased. Thanks OP. Looking forward to trying. At $16/bottle, not a huge risk.

    • let us know how you find this one. thanks.

      • will do

  • good or bad? I am not familiar with shiraz

    • Barossa shiraz is strong and bold. 2017 was a poor year though, so expect it to be a little lighter in body than traditional.

120rrp is nonsense. But expect a decent buy at this rate, which is probably more in line with a 40-50rrp

Buy and dont look back and enjoy yourself

  • price has gone up to $110

    • worked it out. the code gives a flat $50 discount. buying two 6 pack separately is cheaper than buying a dozen at a time unless the code is once per user only which doesn't seem to be the case. Doesn't make sense and add unnecessary work if split ordering is allowed

  • As stated in the promotion, Discount code limited to one per transaction.

  • Received my order today -very happy with it, so much, that I ordered two more boxes.
