  • This or sorbolene?

    • Surely Nivea has been in the lotion game long enough to know what they are doing?

    • Redwin Cons

Contains sulfate cleansers (SLES and ammonium lauryl sulfate), which can be drying for some people with very sensitive skin.
Also contains preservatives such as methylisothiazolinone/methylchloroisothiazolinone, which are known allergens for a small number of people.

    • Have been using sorbelene for years and I dont look a day older than someone around about my age…

To me Aveeno feels a bit oilier and thinner, but once on it seems to do much the same job. If you have no preference then just buy whichever is the cheapest

      • I find the opposite, Aveeno is drier and get absorbed easier, the sorbolene I have feels greasy and the grease is still there long after the other 50% of it is absobed. I buy Aveeno for this reason alone

    • The last bottle of sorbolene I had smelt REALLY funky..

  • How is it for babies?

  • QV moisturizer is the best I've tried so far. Made my skin bleeding from using too much hand sanitizer actually heal up by the next morning. Miracle lotion I call it. But never tried this brand

    • fun fact i recently learned - hand san doesn't kill gastro bugs. you have to physically wash that off with soap and water. just good to know.

    • pH neutral is a good start.

Yes you don't want to overdo it with the antibacterial stuff. Wears down your fingerprints and dries the skin, I only use it sometimes, you need nourishing stuff too.

  • If you do Costco, they also have a 2 pack for $24.99, so 12.50 per bottle. It's my preferred lotion so I stocked up recently.
