Vodka 700ml $25, Gin 700ml $29 + $15 Delivery @ Queensland Distillery

Received a text similar to a previous Artisin Gins deal. $25 a bottle for vodka and $29 a bottle for Gin.

$15 delivery to Tasmania.

Some research tells me the site is legit but you are definitely getting what you pay for. Still can make a good mixer if you have a ninja slushie maker.

Can't see any time frames on the promotion.

  • A lot have complained in the past that the vodka is not very good and I will again say that for the price, you certainly won't find anything better! If you want a nice smooth vodka, pay more and go elsewhere. If you just want a cheap mixer and know what works well to mask the taste, this is great and well worth it for $25/bottle.

    • Yep, if these are anything like the previous cheaper deals. They make well as a mixer. And personally I didn't notice much of a difference in quality to let's say Smirnoff/sky vodka.

So $25/bottle is good enough for a cocktail mixer in my eyes.

    • Cheaper mixer, if you just wanted 1 bottle, is at Dan's with the current 10% off. Pickup and not delivered, but cheaper at $34.19 for the Rivka/Mishka 700ml bottles pickup.

    • I've been using their vodka to infuse some herb and make homemade Spanish herbero. Tbh I'm quite happy.

    • Great mixer with minimal flavour and scent - good if you want to be less conspicuous.

    • Vodka can made from barley, corn, beets, grapes, rice and more! Grain = vodka

      • and here I was thinking it must come from the vodka region in Russia to be called vodka :D

        • The vodka region in Russia is just Russia 😅

  • I had tried the kingfisher vodka and it was good, the gin was bad

  • The gin is rubbish. Almost undrinkable.

    • The gin is excellent, I bought 2-3 times from these guys and this is on par with say 4 pillars (if you need a comparison)

      • Its rubbish.

        • Its actually quite good, been buying their gin since they were banned on OzB

  • As usually discussed in these threads, small distillers get some sort of tax break on the usual alcohol duty. Normally, there would be $30 just of alcohol duty on one of these bottles, then GST on top

  • I like the bottles the vodka is in. They are very nice but I have no use for them. I wonder if an op shop will take them?

    • Beautiful bottles. I'm always torn as I throw them into the recycling.

  • I've bought both gin and vodka numerous times from Qld Distillery. They work best with some of the flavoured or fancy tonics eg Fevertree rather than plain tonic water, or as an ingredient in a cocktail.
