  • not only kids, I love em too.
Tried the chocolate one but i like this one better.
    thanks Op

  • Almost 22g of sugar per 100g? That's kind of insane.

    • Stick with regular weetbix

    • Yep sugar coated treats

    • And they will put sugar on them as well !

    • Coco pops are only about 6g more sugar per 100g for perspective. Pretty insane.

    • Wow so sugary!

      • first you get the sugar, then you get the power, then you get the women.

        • No money no honey.

    • Just ignore the sugar
      Shhhh

    • More expensive but also half price this week are the protein version which have slightly less sugar and quite a bit more protein this is what I give to my kid. Not all the time but as a breakfast or lunch box option.

      • Swole baby

      • 19g sugar per 100g for something with no natural sugars from fruit in it is pretty bad too

        • that’s why I said “slightly less sugar”. I treat it like a biscuit but with more nutrition. Sure I could feed my kid no processed food ever - a friend has done this and their kid just stopped eating their lunch boxes and now has anaemia. We send lots of fresh fruit and veg, meats, pasta, , cheese, wholemeal bread etc and some processed snacks like this. My comment is just that it also contains more protein, so better option nutritionally in the range.

  • The honey crunch, and the protein caramel crunch have slightly less sugar. Obviously the protein one costs slightly more though at $4 half price.

  • Goes well with the current Vegemite deal.

Vegemite spread on Weetbix is poverty food back in the 60's and really not that bad.

  • This is what Moorooka smells like due to the Sanitarium factory

  • The normal price is a joke. I used to get these all the time pre covid and the normal price was $4 and would only go down as far as $3, yet they can still make money selling them at $3.25 …?

    • Totally agree!! I’m sure back then normal price was $3 and it’s slowly increased in price. Last time I stocked up when it was half price so was $3 - now I’ve finished it all up and I guess this is good timing but gosh yeah $3.25 I guess is the cheapest it’ll ever be and bet you by next year it’ll be $7 normal price then $3.50 when on sale

    • They even went half price down to $2 at least on one occasion at Coles, but yeah been up and up ever since then.

  • $3.25 is more the normal price for me.

But I really like it so I bought a bunch of them.

    • I bought a bunch of the honey variety a while back. They got boring quite quickly and then we had one or two packs left and they'd gone past the best before date. Hopefully you get yours eaten before then.

      • Switching around 4-5 flavors so should be ok-ish for two rotations.

  • all the fat ozbargainers complaining about the sugar in this while they live their sedentary life.

  • these are great, the apricot one reminds me of mini wheats back in the day.

    • I would really love the plain mini wheats to return. Uncle Toby's has their shredded wheat but it's prohibitively expensive.

  • I remember having these when I was younger. Tried them again a few weeks ago and was shocked at how sweet they are. I don't remember them being this sweet.

Also general reminder that Sanitarium is owned by the Seventh Day Adventists and pay no taxes.

  • Skip breakfast. The worst meal.
