  • Crazy… these were $455 (Price Beat at Officeworks) just a month ago.

    • Yeah, I’m sure OP is well aware of that but just post anyway. Technically the best price at this very moment, but meh..

      • RRP went up on all Apple stuff. What once was is no more.

        • I was hoping for a WWDC refresh for the iPad A16, so I could find a clearance iPad ~$400 to buy as an early Father's day present. Seems that idea is now sidelined.

    • Yep, got it from Officeworks for $425 last month with price beat and Celebration 10% off gift card.

  • Call me a cynic, but I think the whole point of the post is to promote the website, not necessarily for the actual iPad.

didn't noticed the promo of that site until you commented
but I think you are probably right

      also now noticed this..

      Now the question is…
does the site do what it was created for or just another crappy scam site that does not work?

Also most of the time people just look at the title and click the shop link… if it is a good deal…
so we can missed things like noticing it is actually a self promo of their site.

    • Yes this is a promotion for the site not a real bargain. Site also got wrong prices most prices listed there either outdated or wrong.

    • The regular price everywhere now is $750, youre never going to see around 500 anymore. This is about as good as its going to get. And wait till the next iphone comes out soon, then the price for that is going to jump massively too.

  • Wild, I managed a price beat at officeworks for $$455 just a month ago, prior to the Apple increases, got lucky

  • Grabbed mine for $457 the other week, WTF happened

    • AI happened. Same as consoles, SSDs, HDDs and GPU all went up.

      • you know that's an excuse when Apple has also raised the price of HomePod and HomePod Mini.

  • No Apple Intelligence . 6 GB of ram. Wait for next gen

  • Looking at the price in the title, I thought that's the Ipad Air.
I bought this Ipad 11" April last year for around $470

  • Only apple can make consumers fool by increasing the price of existing product line and blame it on AI and what not! Bloody chickens.

    • Only Apple? I guess Sony, Nintendo, Microsoft, Nvidia don't exist in your world?

      • They did and blamed it on component cost !!! Apple pricing model was always at a premium.

        • They did and blamed it on component cost !!!

If you kept up with technology news you’d know why component costs went up…

        • Apple managed to stockpile enough RAM and flash ROM chips to delay the price rise by 6 months (compared to other companies). iPhone prices haven't increased yet.

Apple already achieved what it wanted and took advantage of the situation to gain market share. Tease Apple all you want, once you are in Apple's ecosystem, it is difficult to leave.

Seems like some retailers still have old stock.

  • Apple has all the fanboys by the short and curlies, pumping the price up to $750, scumbags.

  • The comments on this deal were so incredibly stupid and ignorant.

This was, in fact, a FANTASTIC deal. (And, yeah, I missed the deal & I'm very upset.)

For the people living in the past & remembering the sub-$500 price & claiming this wasn't a deal …. you are NEVER EVER going to see those prices again.

Right now, there is a USED iPad of the same model being sold on Cashies for $625 … If you can't do math, that's $25 MORE than the price of this deal.

In fact, the way things are going with AI, data centres & memory chip shortages, even the new $750 RRP might soon be a distant memory.
