    i wonder if this is worth it vs edge 1 that i got, which comes Monday estimate, i mean i could realistically still cancel it. ill have to ai a full comparison though see if its worth the price difference

      If I were you, I would wait for the Edge 3 in 2027 - 2028. Usually it's the 3rd gen when all the issues are ironed out from Beta testers buying Gen 1 and 2. Problem is Edge 4 will be coming out soon after that…..and that one will have arms and legs and will be able to walk up and down the stairs.

        relax bro, my order has not been delivered yet so its worth a comparison. but after a quick compare its not worth it, it has mop detachment and 25000 instead of 18500, and slightly slimmer but i dont have use for that as all my furniture are super low. so tbh not worth the upgrade just for one extra feature to leave mop at base and slightly stronger vacuum for 400 dollars more

          The suction figures are worthless. I have a couple of Lubluelu SL60D units and they leave my hard floors absolutely spotless, they definitely aren't that powerful. Higher numbers suggest it will be noisier.

            @Captain Yobbo: Exactly. My 3-year-old S7 MaxV only has 5,100 Pa suction power on paper. Also I'm sure a lot of us are just using the "balanced" power setting but nobody has ever complained about its suction.

              @OzComment: Not to brag but I got my ~$180 LBLs in 20222, changed 1 battery ($35) and one set of brushes, no idea what the suction rating is! I think it's just another marketing gimmick for this particular class of products.

      Slightly quieter, slightly better edge mopping/cleaning, i think the mop washing is hotter and quicker. And it is better at obstacle avoidance like cables. But is it worth the extra cost, probably not.
      I paid about $730 after discounts so its not enough for the $450+

          Roller is technically superior, they usually offer higher downforce and continuously self-clean while they run instead of having to go back to the base station on a regular basis to clean the pads. But in the real world? The difference is not night and day and spinning mops still do a good job for everyday cleaning.

              The Problem with Mop Rollers: The creator discovered a major design flaw with the roller mops (like the Eufy E25 and Ecovacs X9 Pro). They store dirty water in an internal tank inside the robot that the base station fails to empty or clean out completely. They also don't scrape the rollers perfectly clean, meaning the robot is driving around with dirty water and grime inside of it, which could lead to mold and odors.

              The Benefit of Spinning Pads: Spinning mop pads (like the Mova P10 Pro and Roborock models) are much simpler and more sanitary.               my own two cents about the 2-3 passes for spinning mops, that is only required for those weird tests they do where they smear literal mud to see the cleaning performance, in the real world no one really smears mud or tomato sauce on their floors like that, one pass will do it.

    Compared to Edge 2 (not Edge):

    This one is white, not black, has 100 degrees C mop drying, "Industry-First AdaptiLift chassis", auto detergent dispenser, bigger battery/longer runtime and detachable mops (in the dock) system for cleaning/drying. Also has pop-up/pop down Lidar to lower its profile and a video camera to monitor/record your pets.

      if comparing to edge 1, edge one has the adaptilift, that was one of the reasons i bought it, its not exclusive to edge 2, and dispenser is not important coz they usually only are used for mop cleaning not mixing solution with the water that goes into the vaccum, leaving of mop in base is not important when the vaccum can lift mop 17mm more than the usual 10mm of other machines, only useful thing is if u have really low furnitures maybe it would clear the space and maybe not. certainly not worth paying 40-50 percent more

        It's an updated Adaptilift on the Edge 2 Pro. It's mentioned on the Roborock comparison. They call it Enhanced Adaptilift Chassis on the Edge Pro 2.

        E2P also has Vertibeam that prevents it getting wedged under things and 25K suction versus 18.5K

          apparently that increased suction is all marketing, doesn't translate to better vacuuming in the real world from the many reviews ive watched. if someone has low furniture its a good option, but i don't see how its worth paying %50 more with those slightly better features, in my case 100% more coz edge 1 was 599 for me with my 200 coupons via amazon business
