        It has 6 to 12 months ago when I tried it with another 12 month Boost prepaid starter pack. Unless the POS has changed I don't see why not.

          Worked for me too.
          Used 10% Everyday Extra discount and also paid with 5% discount gift card.
          Was bought as part of a large grocery shop FWIW.

        I asked the Woolies working there before payment if my 10% would work and a few of them said no. I tried anyway and the 10% worked for me, bought the exact same Boost 12 Month Starter Pack with 295GB @ Woolworths for $225.

        Signed up for the free trial and grabbed just the sim today, the 10% came off, $225 total worked just fine :)

    What's the easiest way to port out/in to hack this into a renewal? Telstra no longer offer a no top-up option on their $2 starter sims.

      Buy a ~$10 Vodafone or Optus 28 day SIM. I usually port out for most of the 28 days. Yesterday Coles was selling a Vodafone 90GB 28 day SIM for $14.

      I've had porting issues with Lebara and Amaysim so stick with the actual network operators for porting.

    Thanks 👍🏼 That's a good deal in itself. $10/$14 for 28 days works out to $130/$182 pa, albeit with the work of porting. Will grab a few sims today. I don't need a teenage daughter with no data. She would look at me like how Melania looks at Trump.

      AFAIK only more telecom (CommBank) supports that outside of three major networks.
      Boost definitely doesn’t support that and most likely won’t.

    If you wanna have a fun time, head in to Officeworks and get one of their fabulous staff to price beat it… it was on sale the other day on Boost's own website and the guy huffed and carried on for like a full 10 mins before finally putting it through.
    He couldn't find a picture of a barcode to compare the two obviously-the-same-products and i'm like dude, this is from the Boost website, not some shady third party reseller ffs.
