Looks to be the standard price, this is a UK based shop that will ship to Aus. Shipping is up to a month, but if you're in no rush this is around $30-40 cheaper than anything local. The classic Noctua brown varient is also available and is $2.69 cheaper. Compared to PCCG, Scorptec, Centre Com or PLE, this is the cheapest way to get these fans.

If you're after the twin pack of brown fans, I'd probably buy them locally as they're available for $129 at Centre Com and Umart, other retailers are around $139

      a12x25g2 specifically is about as good as 12030 or most of the higher end 140mm fans in noise normalized testing, to the point where it outperforms 140mm fans on a 280mm radiator lol…

      Not that anything needs that (especially not modern cpus which max out at 250w) but you gotta pay for LCP blades, even the phantakes/nidec GT and "budget" Thermalright options are around the $45-$60/fan price point

      if you care about price just get a 5pack of p12s for $35 and have 80% of the performance at low noise, set it at 600-800rpm static on a 240mm AIO and you will have a completely inaudible system with either 285k or 9950x3d.

    The performance and noise level is very good but as with all computer hardware there's usually diminishing returns when it comes to price v performance.

    I think I'll be good with El cheapo Arctic P12 fans since the loudest part of my pc is always the gpu and the crappy ORICO Das that's cooling my hard drives.

      Nah, Nocuta fans are just a special type of people. Good quality fans are cheaper than ever - this particular brand just has a cult following.

      I have around 5 of them purchased around 7 years ago, and they are worth more second hand now than I paid for them brand new, lol.

          Yeah reusable and also all the other options are always noisier. Having tried then myself like artic or Corsair. I always regret not just getting more noctua fans. Especially matters for itx builds where you want t them going hard but not noisy af.

    Given that Scorptec has the dual pack for $139 and it shows up in 2-3 days not seeing how this is a deal?

    Also just get 2 x XPG gentle typhoons for $40

    They are what Noctua copied 15+ years ago.

    Surprisingly there isnt much difference 15 years later but hay buy what you want I guess

    They are good reliable fans. I had the older NF-P12x25 fans which I ran for 12 years non stop (24/7 system) and they still work today. But, the price has gotten very crazy. I bought 3x new NF-A12x25 fans back in 2021 and they were much cheaper than today. Furthermore, other companies have started copying Noctua, so you can get the performance for a lot less money. Reliability is still unknown for other brands, so if you are frequently checking or replace your PC every 5 years, then you might as well buy new fans each time.

    For me, I'll stick to my Noctua's, only because I already have them and have experienced their extreme reliability.
