Maybe best to wait for the half-price Pixel 10 Pro / Pro XL from JB and Telstra after the Pixel 11 release next month, should be silimar price
Did this happen to the 9 Pro when the 10 was released?
I'd be happy with a Pixel 9 Pro at this price, let alone a 10.
This is perfect for someone looking for small phones. Good specs line ram, storage, updates and camera
And Snapdragon chip
"Small" but more I'd classify it more as normal - newer generations just seem to be getting bigger gradually
I had this phone for a few months. Battery time is below average even for normal daily use. Otherwise a very good phone specially for those who want to have a small size flagship level device.
I had this in my cart a few days ago, and with all the coupons I had applied, the total came down to $712. When I logged back in yesterday, my cart was empty and I'd lost all the coupon codes since I hadn't saved them anywhere else.
I contacted customer support, and the agent said they clear carts when an item goes out of stock. Unfortunately, they couldn't help recover the coupon codes either.
Oh well, whatever happens, happens for a reason. I'll just wait for the Pixel deals instead.
Did you use copy and paste to enter the codes? If so, check the clipboard in your phone/keyboard, they should still be there (at least that's the case for me on Samsung/Android).
Usually dumps them after a (short) while especially if copying and pasting a lot. They might be lucky.
Clipboard has maximum. Don't know if you can enlarge it.
Do u remember which vouchers u used to get the extra 50 off?
5% first order + 10% off from a chat regarding another appliance order + 5% off birthday coupon.
Clearly they don't want your business
can you still flash modern samsung phone's firmware to the csc/regions?
What's the use case for this? It shouldn't be branding since these should just ship with the generic XSA CSC.
Are they not shipping sim card profiles properly?
What's the use case for this?
main reason people do it is for native/built-in call recording.
i just did some research and it seems like it's still doable, so for those interested (yada yada laws/legality etc.) you can via odin
Does that mess with your connectivity or any other settings?
Would be great to have some of these built in features enabled
There's Cube ACR app in Galaxy app store which does call recording on Samsungs without needing to jump through any hoops.
@beesider: those dont truly work as android partially blocked call recording apps at the start of 2022
and by that i mean these call recording apps rely on your phone's microphone to record your speaker at the same during the call so the quality depends on the location (windy)/how loud the speaker is whereas native is recording within android meaning significantly better quality - like youre recording inside a studio booth with very low bitrate
3rd party apps are useful in other ways such as cloud backups/filtering or recording 3rd party call apps like whatsapp but i dunno how reliable they are
regardless ive used 3rd party recording apps in the past both on rooted and unrooted androids and found them to be a hit or miss so i personally prefer native whether thats importing chinese phones or flashing samsung csc
Nice found, I paid $775 two months ago.
Screens on the s25 are prone to scratches. Get a screen protector.
Isn't screen protector a must by default when you're spending >$700 for a phone?
Never did, never will.
I haven't bothered with my S25 Ultra and the screen has been perfect for the last 12 months. It's actually the rear glass that has cracked, despite being protected by the case!
Miot time you can protect it by chanting 'activate shield'
There's something wrong when manufacturers are flogging their products like it's not worth anything
Last gen base model phone… this should be the normal price.
Oh wait 256 that makes sense in 2026, it's not worth anything
Considering the S26 ultra was recently $966 this doesn't seem like a great deal.
The S26 Ultra is a much larger and heavier phone. Totally different prospective buyer. Also, that was a ridiculously amazing deal. This one is merely really good.
for $966 is not that great of a deal as it cannot be claimed as work deduction, its just sim plan, not the cost of the phone.
also ETC is not tax deductible.
and the warranty is only either repair or replace whilst stock last, as the phone cost is $0, you won't get any reimbursement.
Weird 488 ozbargainers seemed to like the deal… just because you cant tax deduct is a you problem. Also the 2 year warranty is through both HN and Samsung regardless of value on invoice buddy… no different to any other electronics that have new models released yearly..
The fact that I only paid $557 for the same phone from local store and local stock its evident enough $966 is too expensive.
@RTX9090Ti: Do tell how you manage to buy a s26U for 557, I don't think they go even that low used?
This could the the last compact S series phone with snapdragon that we can buy locally in Australia given that Asus pulled out making Zenfones.
Decent deal.
