    You can get it from Costco for $249, which is actually $1 cheaper, and it comes with a $30 eGift card.

    When it's on sale for $219, after the eGift card you're basically only paying $189.

          I can make/receive calls and send SMS's (all free) from my Boost number when I'm overseas as if I were still in Australia.

          It used to require a Wi-Fi connection, so I needed to have a wifi hotspot with me. However, in the past few years, with a Samsung phone and a local data SIM card on the 2nd SIM, my Boost SIM could be used anytime, anywhere.

      I also switched from Boost to OnePas, day and night different. It is probably heavily dependent on your area. At work in Sydney Olympic Park I went from full bar of signal in the bathroom to absolutely 0 signal.

      So true. Boost network has detoriated so badly. My coles mobile, which I used as a burner sim as I was already with Boost, had so much better mobile speed on 4G as compared to boost now.

      I just got OW to price beat on Lucky Mobile price. They didn’t add in shipping cost, so came to $229.89. Good deal considering the SB and TCB deals never worked for me, always got the “something went wrong” error.

        I fully gave up on boost after going back and forth with support, saying to try again in 4 hours, or a different browser/device. I also tried all the troubleshooting in an old thread on another boost deal with no luck. Different delivery address, payment method, etc. but didn't want to give a different identity since it might stuff up keeping my number.

        cbf anymore, might go to Aldi mobile instead if I want to stay on the network

      Offer ends on 10-Aug. I've Vodafone connection and want to switch to Boost. If I get the sim on 09-Aug, and couldn't activate by 10-Aug, will I have to pay $50 on top?

      I could purchase successfully just now (7th Aug). I did have the same issue yesterday and day before. Called their customer care, reported the issue and asked them if they don't want any new customers? Questioned her if one is facing issue just to become their customer, after becoming their customer what other issues one has to face. Although I don't think this would have any effect (akin to raining on a donkey) given that this issue of "Sorry, something went wrong" since many years, I just expressed my resentment.

      Anyways, I don't think this caused it to work - so first 2 times, I tried on my iphone (Chrome) with credit card, 3rd time that I just tried sucessfully was on my macbook Chrome (with new window) + a different bank debit card. And lo and behold it worked!! Hope this helps someone trying to recharge. Good luck!!

    I bought two Boost SIM cards from Costco because I thought that, since they use the Telstra network, the coverage in a major metro city would be excellent.

    Unfortunately, the experience was the complete opposite. The connection was so unreliable that I often couldn’t even make WhatsApp calls while travelling—they would either fail to connect or disconnect midway.

    Within a month, I contacted Boost and requested a refund because the service was simply too unstable to rely on. They told me to go back to Costco, but Costco said they needed written confirmation from Boost before they could process the refund.

    After being sent back and forth, I ended up writing a firm email to Boost before they finally approved the refund for both SIM cards( one used and one unused)

    Based on my experience, I wouldn’t buy Boost again.

      How did you able to convince boost that you're having internet issues? Did you provide any screenshot etc as a proof? Or they checked from their end?

      Sorry if this is obvious/you've already tried it, but are both SIMs failing? If it's only one it could be an issue with the installation/contact? I've had an issue previously where some crud got on the simcard and was causing issues. 99% IPA and a microfibre cloth (fine glass type) fixed the issue for me.

      I did this with a Telstra $2 sim a few months ago and porting back and forth took literally less than 5 minutes. However, I think telstra has now made it so you need to recharge the sim to activate? Happy to be corrected.

      Update to the update lol, PM'd in store. It was honestly theatrical😂. Lady at the counter just took a minute or 2 to check the price, free shipping status and make sure it was in australia. But she needed the manager to approve it cos it was x% off the in store price. This is where the full blown fbi investigation starts. Manager comes over and then asks to see a barcode, I say the officeworks website doesn't even have barcodes so what's the point. Then he proceeds to look up the shop on google maps to make sure its real, looks up the ABN, checks their facebook to again make sure its a real shop. That wasn't enough he then decides he needs to call up the shop and make sure the price is real and it infact is free shipping because he thinks the price they are selling it for is too cheap (even tho boost is selling it for $250). Finally got it all approved for $229.90.

      Usually doesn't. I've grabbed one anyway, still a great deal for $200 after cashback. If the data runs out after 12 months then its $16.67/m, 11 months is $18.18/m – not a big difference.

    I know in theory that they are the same level but been seeing people say Boost has deteriorated as of late so wondering if I would be downgrading going to this or not
