Was looking for a 2nd controller for my Xbox Series X just purchased using the NAB Goodies offer.

Looks to be a good deal for the red controller on Amazon AU.

      jack is along the bottom edge, near the D-pad.

      there is an accessory port there too.

    Just an FYI if you're planning to pick one of these up and you play on PC you're much better off getting a Gamesir or 8BitDo controller for the same price or a little more, much better feature set, software support and overall value

      I’m in same position , but I think I’ll get this as I have a Xbox to pc adapter and 1 adapter supports up to 8 controllers (I’ll just be using 2), whereas the 8bitdo I read needs 1 adapter per controller (so basically would use up 1 extra port)

        If you can get your hands on the PC adapter, it's fairly seamless to couch coop with multiple Xbox controllers.

      Just did some research, and Hall Effect controllers are best

      Cyclone 2 & Ultimate 2 seemed to be top of people's list

      Confirmed both worked on Linux, so YOLO'd and ordered one of each to replace my Xbox one thats playing up

      Mine started drifting yesterday but I only used it for less than 100 hours. Hopefully I can fix it tonight just by blasting off any speck of dusts.

        By no means excusing a company like Microsoft / Xbox making controllers that develop this far too often however no matter where you purchased it from you can head to account.microsoft.com and into the Devices link, it will either already be in your device list or you can grab the serial number and register it. If it's within 2 years since purchase their repair process is actually pretty speedy, even more so if you live on the east coast. Lodge the warranty issue, receive an Aus Post label/sometimes able to book a courier to pick it up from your address. The day it arrives at their "repair centre" they generally ship back to you a brand new/refurbished one overnight via TNT.

      I'm not being a smart arse, it's a genuine question but why would the colour make any difference?

      Wouldn't stick drift be a problem on all Xbox wireless controllers if that was the case or do we think MS has made a bad batch?

        I wouldn't buy any Xbox controllers. I'm looking at my four broken ones sitting in a box right now. I got two 8BitDo Ultimate 2 Wireless Controller and loving it.

          Had plenty of 8bitdo controllers with horrible input registration on D-pad, and their knock off hitbox is laggy af.

          Have 3 of these (different colors) and all fine. OTOH, have a 8bitdo Pro2 which has stick drift. And I use the Xbox one more than the 8bitdo

    FYI, even though it says it's red, it's actually red and white. Reminds me of the Japanese flag.
