This is a dedicated accessory that allows you to play classic Virtual Boy games via the Virtual Boy – Nintendo Classics app on Nintendo Switch™ 2 and Nintendo Switch™. Either this accessory or the Virtual Boy for Nintendo Switch 2/Nintendo Switch (sold separately) is required to play Virtual Boy – Nintendo Classics.
This accessory is primarily made of cardboard and additional foam padding.

Bought this at full price when released. A bit awkward to use because it doesn't include a head strap. You either have to hold it against your face while playing with the Joy-Cons attached, or lie on your back, balance it on your face, and use the Joy-Cons detached.
All in all it's good for about 30 mins of play, then you'll get sick of it if you don't get a headache before then. Still, a fun way to experience playing Virtual Boy games somewhat faithfully.
