  Does Westpac consider gift card purchases on ShopBack cash advance or a regular purchase when using a credit card?

    Just a regular purchase. I would avoid if it was a cash advance. Have done many times as Westpac card holder.

  "This is an instore gift card and can NOT be used online at Kmart"

    @inverse of zero Please refer to the post. I wrote the following in the post description at the time of posting (as per Kmart webpage):

    Can gift cards be redeemed online?

    Yes. We accept Kmart gift cards Enter your card number and PIN at checkout. You can use up to three gift cards per order.

    Inaccurate info on ShopBack:

    >This is an instore gift card and can NOT be used online at Kmart

      I see, thanks for letting me know. I ended up just using a 5% RAC gift card deal in the meantime. It's disappointing that ShopBack have that inaccurate info on their page 🤦

        Unfortunately this isn't the only inaccurate info.

        I checked the Kmart gift card but other people alerted me to inaccurate info on Officeworks gift card and Bunnings gift card.

        There is probably more outdated info on ShopBack 🙁
