Spotted this $10 Starbucks deal on Uber Eats and thought I'd give it a crack.

Grande coffee + Chicken & Avocado Panini for $10.

Was fully expecting the panini to be one of those reheated, soggy disappointments, but it was actually pretty delightful. Crispy on the outside, decent amount of filling, and paired with a medium coffee (choice between Latte, Iced Latte, Americano & Iced Americano), it's a pretty solid for ten bucks.

If you're an Uber One member, delivery is free too. Came to just under $11 all up for me.

Didn't expect to be recommending Starbucks but here we are.

      Ehh it wasn't bad - large enough that I'm probably not going to have lunch. Coffee was average, but for the price, I'm not complaining.

    Why do people say that Starbucks failed in Aus? They have 24 locations in Melbourne alone, I don't really call that "failure".

      Biggest scam story I heard when I first came here in 2009. Same scam I heard when I went Shanghai early this year… and exactly the same scam when I went to other part of Asia..

      They closed a lot of stores in aus 10+ years ago. They also failed in china, but that’s a different story

      It's all relative. Singapore has ~150 Sbux stores with somewhat similar population to Melbourne. Compared to how popular Starbucks is in the US and several Asian countries, it's fair to say they are not doing as well in general in Aus

      Its also about the same quality as any other chain (The Coffee Club etc), but people act like its dirt in a cup on here

      Yes there are better coffees, but that is not what this website is about.

    Panini was hot. Not a lot of taste. Washed down with a iced latte. 6/10. Easy lunch for $11.20
