  • Looks like "less" benefit or value in Woolworths mobile anymore since they got rid of the 4G plans which were $20-26. The 10% shop once a month probably saves the regular shopper $10 a month. So this 5G $30 plan brings it back to the 4G plan pricing.

    • It saves you $7 because you can pay $7 per month to get a 10% off

      • im talking more about the mobile plan side of it.

      • But you can get both and get 10% off two shops, cant you?

    • If you are smarter about it and have a family - you do a "big shop" and save a lot more than $10

      • I remember when big shops were only $100 :(

      • agreed but it makes it easier to say $100 to generalize it. I guess some families spreading their weekly shop with asian/inidian/middle eastern grocers

      • $50 is the maximum you can save

        • And if you have rewards membership x that by 2. Save $100 a month

          • @the-fuzz: Yes over two seperate shops, $50 max per shop

    • I was on the $28 plan and it was great, saving $10 on a shop effectively covered my monthly phone bill for $18 with great reception. However, I upgraded to the $34 plan to replace NBN with hotspot and it’s working pretty well (aside from killing my phones battery). Still can be a good deal.

    • The old $170 for 12 months plan users have been rolled onto $20/month still with the 10% off. My family usually is able to save $15-$20 on a big monthly shop at woollies I guess thats kinda worthwhile so I am staying on it but i also got another esim in my phone for extra data.

      • Or just buy cheaper plans and get the Everyday rewards at times half price ($35) for 1 year. I'm a very light user so managed to get $100-120 a year (after cashback). If you need Telstra though it is a good deal.

        • They're closing the annual plan option

    • I have 4 prepaid woolies for the family. We spend easily $250 a week in grocery a week, so that's $25 a week for 4 weeks each month. I'm essentially getting the phone use for free.

  • Anyone knows if I can buy them from the Woolies metro store ? Don't want to go without knowing they sell them.

    • "Offer is not available at Woolworths Metro …"

      • Thanks ! Save me a trip ! :D

  • When will they offer half price everyday rewards memberships I wonder? The last one was over a year ago

    • they got rid of the yearly plans so don't think we'll see that again

  • Only able to gift 50% of your data inclusion is such an unfair condition.

  • Is this endorsed by Mario?

    • Yes, he found it in a green pipe

  • How much in value are the points?

    • $17.5/$22.5. not worth it

      • Fair point but still cheaper than getting points from gift cards. Best I've seen is what $50 for Coles to get 1000 Velocity points etc.

      • Worth more than twice that if you're redeeming for business class flights though

  • $175 for QFF 11250 points

    Max. 5 purchases.

    • Maths cruncher 👌🏻

Seems rather similar to that 20K points for that carry-on suitcase the other week off Qantas Marketplace

  • Tried to redeem this store said they don’t sell them at the store anymore I’m so confused to why they did this offer and she’s saying it’s been like that for a month

    • My local only had $30

      • Only $35 for me but used 10% Everyday Extra discount to reduce price a bit

Now for an essentially useless piece of data that I spent $35 on haha

        • Hi mate. I just went to woolworths and bought $35 sim but I cannot use the 10% extra discount. It is showing on final page for me to click, but after click to use it. total price NOT reducing

Do you mind sending a screenshot of your receipt here? thanks…

  • According to the T&C, you can do this a maximum of 5 times? Seems like a fairly decent way of getting Telstra wholesale for $12.50 a month and 50gb of data.

Edit: I just read the tiny fine print. You must activate with in 60 days of purchase.

    • Edit: Edit: 100gb

    • You must activate with in 60 days of purchase.

      Where did you see this?

  • Is this offer targeted? Can't see this offer in my account
