My P7 PRO XL bricked after the update in DEC. Google sent me a P8 PRO XL replacement. It was out of warranty, but it fried my phone :(
I wouldn't keep it any longer than you have too, or make sure it's backed up.
I did go to a S25 BASE< and LOVED IT! I now have a S26 Ultra and it's so big I kind of wish I had the S25 base or S26 base LOL.
Samsung is def quicker, but the Pixel has a better camera over the base models. It's better than the S26U esp for quick photos.
Otherwise I am not sure I noticed much of a change, other than faster charging.
I just use my phone for basics tho. :)
