  • Waiting for Baconnet

  • Bargain?

  • I loveeeeeeee this movie. We watched it at the theatre, walked out in daze (also eyes were too puffy due to crying lol), looked at each other and said it's only January, did 2026 cinema already peak just now?
Highly recommend. Both the lead actors gave a breathtaking performance.

  • I'm a little confused by what this is

    • Historical fictional drama, based on parts of Shakespeare's life.

      Its a good film

      • Nah, i mean that is the deal? Is this just a movie that is on a platform, or do you need to do something to activate or watch it on a platform?

    • Very well. You have 2 wishes left.

    • more lgbt

MMIWG2SLGBTQQIA+ now thank you very much.

  • I dont want to block subscription movie deals.
But why is this particular movie a deal over other 2026 movies on strsaming services?
I genuinely want to know whats special with this one.

    • It isn't, though maybe being critically acclaimed helps? Movies typically get posted when they first come to streaming services (subscriptions, not to buy or rent), I think this one took longer than usual because it first went to Peacock which we don't get in Australia.

      • Thanks.

  • Great movie, not a deal.

  • I don't think I'm the target audience for this movie

    • The target audience is anyone that likes "cinema". Though people might regard it too much like oscar bait, but its a very good art house film.

Despite the hilarity of Chloe Zhao directing The Eternals, her last 3 films ignoring the MCU slop were all well worth watching.

    • I was expecting a pig to be in it.

  • Good movie and all the main actors are White - a rarity in 21 st century revisionist/woke historical films.

    • Think I've a clue what the R is 4…

    • Yeah I can't wait for the Netflix adaptation of WW2 I'm sure they will love a black Austrian painter because it's very inclusive

    • You're not pissed that one of the most famous Brits in history is being played by someone Irish? Wasn't there a good enough proper British actor to play Shakespeare?

      • No and probably.

      • You're not pissed that one of the most famous Brits in history is being played by someone Irish?

just try to enjoy the movie.

I watched Blackhawk down recently a war movie. Eric Bana appears in it with the most horrific american accent I have ever heard and afaik nobody really said anything when it was popular.

        • I think you missed the point there.
