    Interesting to see this come through as a per-item cap rather than the per-order cap (ShopBack) or per-member cap (TopCashback) we usually see from BWS.

        I had 18 bottles in total of 3 different types and is only tracked as $60 instead of $250.
        Have submitted an incorrect cash back claim.
        Not picking up the order and will cancel unless it is all corrected.

    Mine just tracked as $20 on a 2 x $69 = $138 purchase. It should have been $15.18 per item total $30.36.

    I swear I am cursed. Every single deal lately is either not tracked or tracked incorrectly and always on the low side. I'm sick to the teeth of chasing up all the errors.

      thats so strange, i've placed 5 orders today. each got 22% cashback. are you using any adblocker/vpn/proxy? or used the bws app?

      SB has this too: Your Cashback may be tracked at a different rate initially and adjusted to the correct rate when we confirm the transaction details.

      so maybe wait and check if it gets updated

          To be clear you ordered for example 2 x $50 = $100 and you got $11 cashback or $22 cashback ? You should have gotten $22.

    Yeah I also ordered multiples (of the same item) and only had $20 tracked.

    It shows in ShopBack as 1 item for the full value instead of broken up into multiple line items that happens normally with multiple bottles.

    Certainly a bug with how multiple bottles of the same type track.

    i had 2 different eligible items in my 1 order.
    According to the email received, only 1 item tracked.
    According to the shopback website, that 1 item from the email is tracked whereas the 2nd item is confirmed.

    Look out for Teeling Small Batch Irish Whiskey. I picked it up at $57.35 in Victoria. Most of the Teeling is great. Really nice high abv (46%) non chill filtered whisky.

      Just checked at https://www.shopback.com.au/cashback and mine have both tracked despite not receiving email confirmation of it

      $16.72 and $19.53. Really hit the sweet spot with that Glenfiddich sherry cask =)

    Ordered three items;

    Two were a multi buy, 2 for $30. Tracked as per normal,

    Other was a 4 pack of beer, and that tracked but was also confirmed instantly.

          @gotyourback my incorrect cashback claim rejected. It's literally in the title of this thread "$20 cap per item" not "$20 cap per order". We have provided Shopback with screenshots of this fact and those are also posted below. This is not rocket science, please sort it out. DM sent.

    Vincent, the customer service rep assigned to me is claiming

    We understand your concern regarding the Cashback cap, and we’d like to clarify that there was no BWS promotion stating that the $20 Cashback cap applied per item. The $20 cap was applicable to the entire eligible order, rather than to each individual item within an order.

    If you have seen promotional terms or a screenshot from 27 August that specifically states “$20 Cashback per item”, rather than per order, please send it to us. We’ll be happy to review the wording and raise it with the relevant team if the promotion was indeed displayed differently.

    Aside from the issue of multiple of the same item, they've also reduced my cashback tracked for my other order to 20%.

        The Reason when submitting a query via their Ai Chatbot: Seems like BWS now calculates "Ex GST" whereas up until now was "Inc GST". Based on that the total paid is correct (in my case at least). Regardless they shouldn't have made this change by adjusting 22% to 20%

        Snippet of ChatBot: The Cashback amount for your BWS order may appear lower than expected because the purchase amount used to calculate Cashback excludes GST (Goods and Services Tax) and other charges, as these are not eligible for Cashback. Additionally, any ineligible items in your order will also be excluded from the Cashback calculation. If you have further questions or need clarification, please let me know!

        One Observation: Purchase made today 23/09 shows CB is still calculating on Total and not off the Ex GST amount!. Will be interesting to see if they calculate it down on pay-out.

          I bet it's not that and they're just being dodgy.
          If it was the GST thing, the tracked amount should be less, but the % remaining the same - like literally every other store.
