I scanned five Australian capitals against eleven Asian cities across every date from November through June, then checked how wide each price window actually is. Every fare below is direct. No self-transfer, no 20 hour connection through somewhere you did not plan to visit.

Sample itinerary (the headline fare): Perth to Denpasar, Sunday 8 February 2027, Indonesia AirAsia, departs 8:25pm, arrives 12:05am, 3h 40m, non-stop, $146 one way.

Travel period: November 2026 through June 2027. No booking deadline, these are live fares rather than an advertised sale.

The bit worth knowing: these are not single date flukes. Perth to Bali holds near $146 across half the dates sampled, Melbourne to Bali the same, Sydney to Bali across more than half. You can pick a date that suits rather than rearranging your life around one departure. The genuinely narrow ones are Melbourne and Brisbane to Ho Chi Minh City, basically one date each, so grab those or move on.

Worth knowing before you book:

All prices AUD, one way, checked tonight.

These are low cost carriers. AirAsia, Scoot, Jetstar, Vietjet and Batik all charge for bags, seats and food. At $146 a checked bag is a serious chunk of the ticket, so price the whole thing before you commit.

Perth is doing the heavy lifting because of the geography. A 3h 40m non-stop to Bali for $146 is the standout by a distance.
Returns are weaker than these one ways. Perth to Bali return runs about $262 and Sydney to Bali about $554, so on the east coast two one ways is usually the better play.

Every link opens that fare and prices the whole region on the same date, so if a neighbouring city comes in cheaper you will see it without running another search.

skyspy.deals compares every airport in a region in one search instead of making you check cities one at a time. Free, no signup. Disclosure: it is my site and it earns a commission if you book through a partner link. All of these are bookable directly with the airline too, same flights.
