Wanted something to keep all my recovery gear in 1 spot for my 4x4. This bag is conveniently top opening & large enough to store everything I needed but also fits in my rear draws. IMO a quality item that is so good, I went back & bought another. Suitable for many applications.

  • Dust proof? Looking for something to keep in my canopy for keeping spare clothes

    • Third reviewer states yes: "Excellent bag for storing blankets and camping gear. Strong and durable. Keeps everything clean and dust free."

    • Wouldn't think so. You would want something with a rubber/silicone seal over the zipper imo. I've got a few from outcamp.com.au. Had one on my draw bar when we did Cape York & that WAS dust free, was very surprised. Quality Australian made, not $20 though lol.

    • I use Ikea storage bags, for a fraction of the price they work great. https://www.ikea.com/au/en/p/paerkla-storage-case-10395384/

      • I have some of those already was after something a bit more sturdy as it will be thrown around, ideally a little uv resistant too

    • IKEA has some good clothing storage bags just like this, a bit better design too the way it zips and opens.

good prices too when on sale.

here found it the PARKLA ones (they have many different size type). https://www.ikea.com/au/en/p/paerkla-storage-case-10395384/

if you must have the big handles, Dimpa I guess (but more expensive and not any other sizes I can see) https://www.ikea.com/au/en/p/dimpa-storage-bag-transparent-9…

  • Cool, now to find something to put in it.

    • That one reviewer put his mini bbq in there… I thought great idea. Last time we took Weber baby Q’s to camping I put mine in a cardboard box which pretty much broke within day 1 lol

      • One for spare cloths, another for mini BBQ, set for life :)

      • did you take it out of the flamable cardboard box before using it?

    • These bags are good for Christmas decorations, or wrapping paper

  • There’s not a lot of stock around but ordered this online. Quality is decent for the price.

    • Plenty of stock on Sunny Coast. I also got 1 of these xtm recovery bags, it's ok but a lot of sml pockets that sorta not that useful for me.

      • I use the small pockets for shackles etc in.

        • Yea, understand that. I carry 4 soft shackles. It is a good bag, I'll gift it to someone in the club as secret Santa I think 🤣

  • I'm going to buy 4. I'll store three of them inside the fourth, as I have no use for them at the moment but I'm sure they'll come in handy some day !!

  • I get 404
    Nvm works now

  • Check in luggage sorted

  • Also their clear top bags are on sale too

  • I'm looking for a similar bag, but collapsible. Basically this, but not as expensive and actually sold in Australia..
    https://www.thenorthface.com/en-us/p/bags-and-gear/gear-8298…

Anyone have suggestions? I'm guessing the bag in the OP is just a bag with no structure/support system.

    • You probably won't find anything in the "affordable" range if you want collapsibility AND structure.

Affordable price, collapsibility, structure. Pick two.

      • Fair enough. I might just get a collapsible crate from Bunnings or something.

    • Correct, no structure.

  • Would probably work well as a grocery shopping bag

    • Bag itself is rather hefty and you'd probably be tempted to overload it 🤣

  • Bought this and it fits my roccbox pizza oven so well

  • missed out on one of these big bags but picked up a few of the clear top bags for $12ea, down from $40.
