  • Do these support time of use and solar priority?

I cant have solar installed (old roof) but want to offset some usage, also, when solar isnt enough, to prioritise battery until cheap tarrifs kick in.

Also, what's the passive drain on each type of output if just enabled? (Let's us know roughly what the vampire load is).

    • 1,451Wh capacity this is just a larger power bank.

      • 1.4kWh would do 50% of my usage no problem, hence asking :)

    • Hi,

Thanks for your detailed questions about the S2000 Pro.

Just to clarify, the S2000 Pro is a portable power station and is not designed for grid-tied operation. Therefore, it cannot be connected directly to your home's electrical grid or operate as a grid-connected home battery with automatic Time-of-Use (TOU) energy management.

It can be charged from solar panels and used to power your devices and appliances from the stored energy. However, it cannot automatically switch between solar, battery and the grid based on your electricity tariff in the same way as a dedicated home energy storage system.

Regarding the passive/vampire load, this varies depending on which outputs and functions are enabled. We don't want to give you an inaccurate figure, so we'd recommend checking the specific power consumption for the configuration you plan to use.

If your main goal is to offset household electricity usage and take advantage of cheaper TOU tariffs, a grid-connected home battery system would be more suitable than the S2000 Pro.We may soon launch these grid-connected residential energy storage systems in the Australian market.

Hope this helps clarify the S2000 Pro's capabilities.

      • Thanks. Ill stick with Bluetti, Ecoflow and DJI who do support this on their small models too.

        Appreciate the honesty.

  • I am one of the many who bought Allpowers R600 in this deal: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/817805?page=2#comment
Which quickly turned into NO powers with E207 code, when it failed and then the replacement failed too.
Would be hard for me to trust this brand again…

    • E207 is an AC charging input/over-voltage fault code.

My money would be that theyre made for 220v, and our standard is 230V.

Heck parts of WA are still 240v.

Plus, since our 230v spec is +/-10%, we can see as high as 253V and be "fine" (and i do, well, high 240's, when a train passes).

    • Hi,

We’re sorry to hear about your experience with the R600. We understand how frustrating it must have been to encounter the E207 error, especially after the replacement unit experienced a similar issue. We completely understand why this would affect your confidence in our brand.

This is certainly not the experience we want our customers to have. We take cases like this seriously and would appreciate the opportunity to review your specific case and see what we can do to help.

If you’re willing, please contact our customer support team with your order details or case number. We’d be happy to look into the history of the issue and work toward a suitable resolution.

Thank you for sharing your experience with us.

  • Stay away from Allpowers. Did not honour the warranty when I had a problem. Could not get them to even respond to my messages. They ghosted me.

    • Second this, Allpowers made me send them videos of my R600 failing to charge, they acknowledged the unit was faulty then asked me to send back from Sydney to Melbourne at my cost. Was sent via registered post and receive Auspost message confirming delivery and then they ghosted all my emails.

I tried to raise a VCAT/NCAT dispute and then found out that they have no ABN or legal company existence in Australia. The Melbourne site is just a warehouse and they are based in Hong Kong.

If you choose to buy from them, check their website and contact details if you can't find an ABN or Oz company listing stay away, they will not honor warranty on a product that will break.

      • Hi,

We’re very sorry to hear about your experience with your R600 and, in particular, the frustration caused by the return and communication process.

We understand how disappointing it would be to have a faulty unit acknowledged, go through the trouble and expense of returning it, and then feel that you were left without an update. This is not the level of customer service we aim to provide.

We take your concerns seriously and would like to review the case, including the return tracking and the communication history, to understand what happened and make sure it is properly followed up.

If you’re willing, please contact us via our official support channel with your order number or case/reference number. We would appreciate the opportunity to look into this personally and work toward a resolution.

We’re sorry again for the frustration this experience has caused.

        • Well so much for taking my concerns seriously. Logged another call with them via your website support page and no reply after 5 days

Guess you just proved the lack of customer support Allpowers has

          • @brand: Oh my goodness.. absolutely pathetic.

          • @brand: Hi, we understand why you’re frustrated, especially after waiting 5 days for a response.

We’ve checked our support inbox, but unfortunately we haven’t been able to locate a support request matching your recent submission. We don’t want to assume that your request wasn’t submitted, so we’d like to help trace what happened.

Could you please send us your order number or support case number via private message? If you don’t have a case number, please send us the email address you used when submitting the request and approximately when you submitted it. We’ll check this with our support team and investigate why you haven’t received a response.

We’re sorry for the frustration, and we’d like to get this properly looked into rather than simply asking you to submit another request.

    • I agree as well, have issue with them not honoring the warranty. My unit arrive DoA, yet they still refuse to arrange return.
At the end has to open lengthy eBay dispute. Can't imagine if I buy direct from them, money down the drain. Stay away from this brand/company.

  • Look closely at the image and the 3 pin sockets are upside down aka China National Standard. Rated 1451Wh, 220V 2400W. (Lots of spelling mistakes).

  • Stay clear of Allpowers. Poor customer service and does not honour warranties. Ignores claims and deletes all negative reviews.

    • We’re sorry to hear about your experience. We take warranty claims and customer feedback seriously, and we’d like the opportunity to review your case.
