You can then buy stuff from Costco and have delivered through DoorDash and effectively works out to be the same cost as going to the store.

Most of the time it is actually cheaper than in-store. Costco marks up the price on Doordash by only 3-4%, plus the service fee is only 3%. Doordash prices even include the monthly in-warehouse specials. Also if you have Shopback Plus you get $0.60-$1.20 cashback on every DD order.

I use it to buy from Woolworths and aldi. Many items are same price as in store. Sure you pay a service fee but the 20% makes it net around 10% or more cheaper and it's delivered free provided you spend enough and have the free doordash membership via prime

Also stacks with the 30% off Woolworths and Aldi deals that appear on Doordash. I've done this a few times.

Thanks OP. Was looking for it for the last month. Was told by Costco that the cards got physically pulled from the store and taken down from website for some reason and they were waiting to hear more. I guess they were trying to see if they will renew this offer.

Looks like we got the gift cards back but Costco on Doordash is now more expensive…everything is 11% off for members now when it was 15% previously.

The discount might be smaller as executive members get 2% rewards when buying the giftcards on Costco and another 2% when ordering Costco on Doordash.

It was 15% yesterday morning, I had calculated the effective markup for Dyson v8 from prices at store. it was 3%
349.99+3%=360.49.
Now it shows 11% but looks like they have also increased the actual price, now effective markup is 9%
349.99+9%=381.49. Not sure if it's only on Dyson or all products

Yes this effective mark-up looks right, you can also calculate it by looking at catalogue items. They have made a very smart move - pretty much the only way to beat the in store pricing now is to get the gift card directly from them at 20% off.

You’re all so excited about DoorDash GC, but I just had a terrible experience. I used their service once to get soft drinks and some water delivered, woolies being 10mins walk from my place. However, since guests were home I couldn’t leave. The delivery changed five drivers in process and it finally delivered groceries in 1:30 hours. I cancelled my subscription and closed my account permanently.

Received the gift card but unable to redeem it in doordash. Getting the message "Unable to redeem gift card. Enter your gift card PIN again.". I copy pasted the code from the mail, so definitely it's correct. This is the first time I have had this issue

No issues for me, however when I paste the copied code, I noticed two spaces at the end. I deleted them before I clicked - perhaps you have accidental spaces too?

Thanks but it wasn't that. Doordash automatically removes spaces at the end. I have previously purchased many doordash gift cards and normal paste with spaces works without issue. I did try removing spaces as well.

Strange, I ordered 9:30 pm yesterday and Was able to order another one just now using same membership card. It did show message at the top showing allowable quantity is 0 but allowed me to place order

I had a missing DD eGC delivery once before too. I found that this method worked: on the Costco website > under My Account > My Orders > Order Details > (check if correct email address) and click Resend redemption code
