  • seems like a crap offer?

  • Anyone notice the quality from amazon is different to in store ones.

    • Nope. I have not.

    • Same crap ngl

    • Only that the 45 quality is better than the 48 pack

      • Really? I’ve alternated between the two sizes for the last three years, and apart from the 5 individual packagings of 9 rolls in the 45 pack vs the loose packaging of the 48, can’t tell a single difference between them.

      • Not true

      • 100% true.

Do you know if the quality of the 36 is same as the 48?

        • yes, exactly the same. just a different quantity

    • No

    • yes, it just falls apart. I was pretty unimpressed with the last set.

I find the 48 pack is garbage, but the 45 pack seems to be better quality as @ATangk mentions below.

    • If I buy from the store it's usually Aldi's brand lately, but I have noticed the quality of Quilton isn't what I remember it used to being. The paper seems to disintegrated more and the last pack I had wasn't cut properly

    • Yes! I noticed this the last time, so stopped getting them

    • Quite bad in my last set. I won't purchase 48 pack anymore.

      • One at Costco are good. But yeah they are expensive than this

    • yes we bought this a couple times from amazon and the quality was noticeably worse. not sure if its quilton or amazon using their defunct stock. we buy another brand now

    • Yep. Quality has gone down the toilet. (BA DUM TS)

  • Regular Quilton sucks now, I'd only buy the Quilton gold rolls

  • I just received the 36 pack and noticed the rolls had shrunk compared to last year. Total weight was 3.88kg vs 4.2kg.

    • Why would you be weighing toilet rolls?
Most people on here would be using them in other ways (weighs?)

      • Yes, I’ve just been using mine almost exclusively for wiping.

But then maybe Quilton loves some bums in a different fashion to others…

  • I cancelled my quilton subscription recently. The confidence brand at Aldi is better value at $8.39 for a 24 pack.

    • Really? I haven't try yet

    • But how is the quality

      • I've still got 81 rolls of quilton to get through, so I don't know. The aldi one is 3 ply, same number of sheets, but could be like baking paper for all I know.

  • Aldi is better than regular quilton

  • I'm spoilt now. Can only do gold 4ply

    • You haven't been spoilt, Quilton gold is the same quality today as regular Quilton was a decade ago, it's just been enshittified (as toilet paper is designed to be I suppose)

  • any good deals on tissue boxes?

  • Wow. So many of you either have or are overly sensitive a-holes. 😝

    • IBS sufferer checking in 🫡

      • LOL!

Well at least you've got a legitimate reason for any sensitivities. I swear some people must be eating this stuff rather than just wiping their a$$e$ with it…

  • I'm no hard core environmentalist, but I don't understand why people don't buy toilet paper made from 100% recycled paper instead of paper like this which requires tree harvesting. A few years ago, I switched to Icare double length rolls for my family of 6 and we find the quality really good. Maybe the paper isn't quite a soft, but it still does the job well so seems like a logical choice.

    • Just go old school and use the leaves without the paper. Tree will make more leaves :)

      • No need to go old school, just get a bidet.

        • Or gloves…

So long as Icare is double the price per roll, even the most well-intentioned OzBargainer will find the hip-pocket nerve is more sensititive than the sphincter.

    • 1+ we did this too, does the job

    • Please post a deal next time it’s at a bargain price. It’s at all time high now.

  • the kleenx tissue haven't been on sale for awhile ?

  • Are these the "$hitty" compact version

  • Quilton is good s**t but you can't go past the Triple-Triple-6-Pack IMO. pound-for-pound the best going around.
