      Fair question, its a known gripe with older HP convertibles. The x360 line uses a dual hinge and the failures people talk about are mostly from the late 18 to 2021 models. Havent seen it come back on the current generation, and we do our own warranty work in house so we would be the ones dealing with it if it happened.

    Also wanted to say that I've had a great experience with your Team when I had to return the laptop from your previous deal. I purchased the Snapdragon one but unfortunately my daughter's school do not support that chipset and I had to return it.

      it’s an old model, we’re up to core ultra series 3 now, this is series 1. difference is it’s a lot less efficient. also this is an Envy, not the Spectre, so build quality is a step down, it’s a plastic frame inside a plastic frame.

        All fair. Its Series 1 and Series 3 is more efficient, and Envy build is a step below Spectre. That's why its $1,199 and not $2,699.

      agreed with @happychappy1 , Thunderbolt 4 does DisplayPort so it drives a monitor over USB-C fine.

    Caution!

    placed order 9 days ago, still no shipping information, if you try call them on their listed number 0288670105 no one ever pick up the phone or call back. I tried at least 10 times during different business hours, never got through or received any callback.
