  • i assuming 48W is still not enough to charge for a 65W laptop?

    • 99% chance it's max 30w on usb c and 18w on the usb a port, combined 48w.

Your laptop should still charge while off when connected but no it won't charge while running

    • I have a dell 5520 that I sometimes charge with a similar style 30w charger, be aware that these chargers will die early if you are constantly pushing them to their limits for extended periods of time

  • what will happen to the car battery if we draw such power

    • Engine running? Bugger all. Engine off? Will drain it but would take a while.
48w at 12v is like 4A. Wouldn't want to leave it all night

      • It doesn't supply power when the engine is off

        • Accessory mode (ACC) will generally supply power to the DC ports while the engine is off.

        • With older vehicles you can turn the key to first position and then you have power at cig socket.

        • That's a very broad statement. How about if you have a cig outlet that is wired into an always on circuit?

          • @9839002: Well that's kinda dumb. Anyway all cars I have tried they switch off.

  • Be careful. My car started smoking and wiring burnt out when I used one of these high wattage chargers with my phone.

Nothing wrong with this charger but my car's wiring clearly was too thin for the fuse it was on

  • Been using this for the past 2 weeks and it's great. Insanely cheap and works great.

    • Wait until it roast ur battry
