  • You can get this for $1680 with pricematch from powerland and voucher at JB HiFi.

    • For the C8L? Nevermind

      $2,180.00

JB hi-fi price match and -500 coupon to get it for $1680 and use additional discount coupons

      • you can't use code with price match, same goes for Good Guys as well, i tried yesterday with them.

        • Price match the advertised price, use the JB code after. JB online dude even mentioned it when I asked for the price match.

      • Legend just did that then. Had to pay $59 for delivery unfortunately

        • Same but still a smashing price.

        • I asked in chat and they reduced the TV price so it came to $1680 total. First dude I messaged didn't include shipping, second one did.
Only specifically asked for free shipping with the second chat though.

        • Depends who you get, they might discount shipping.

        • Can you please share your receipt I bought this tv less than two weeks ago I want match this and get refund

      • Sub 1700 for 75inch is likely to be the lowest it will get right even in future sales

      • Awesome work mate - thanks for finding this one. I just called their Online price matching on 135244 and got a price match including shipping. $1680 including delivery on Monday!! What a fantastic price! :)

        • if someone got the deal, thats great, may be the rep i spoke to wasn't happy to give me the deal. anyone care to share the receipt so i can ask them again ???

          • @Harsh Deep: Just try online with another agent

            • @t0087669: just got price matched by jbhifi rep, he was nice dude. $1680+$59 delivery

          • @Harsh Deep: Try again , if you don't succeed the first time .

          • @Harsh Deep: I just got knocked back and am trying again (live chat). He started with: I see you literally just spoke with Renee who advised on the price match request, was there anything else that I can do for you mate?

I guess I'll give the phone number a try.

They both stated that the 500 off is not valid with other offers incl. price match.

            • @waggat: I got the docket with online live chat by giving them Powerland link. TV500 will be applied on it.

            • @waggat: Success! The second guy on the live chat did it.

              • @waggat: Yep, it is just a matter of who you get on chat! Tried yesterday and this morning, nothing.
                Got a 3rd rep, bingo.

                $1739 delivered.

        • How did you phrase the free shipping request? I asked them to match the price inc free shipping and was told that shipping is determined by their courier and out of their control. I'll try again via phone but was wondering if there's a better way of phrasing it.

          • @masteraj: Ask them if they can take it off the price of the TV. That's what they did for me. Still $59 delivery, but TV matched to $1621.

      • Stoked!

Missed a couple of deals posted here on the 75" C7L — the last being at $1800~. Ecstatic to get the higher spec'ed C8L at $1680 + $59 delivery.

        Thanks much!

        • Can you share your receipt

          • @mardetanha8033: bought jb hifi gift card from Samsung Wallet for 3.5% off, got Total $59 off after buying $1739 worth GC, so Free Delivery .

      • Thanks grabbed it through JB price match, but couldnt get free delivery.
jb rep was very easy to deal with

    • Yet again the real bargain is in the comments.

Could not swing the free delivery, but discounted vouchers and Flybuys points conversions sweetened the deal.

    • Thank you! I just got the price match approved via chat. I tried over the phone but was knocked back because there was no local store near me. I then used a NSW postcode and was able to get the price match approved through chat, with local pickup available in WA.

    • Danke schön @JakeTheMuSS. I had not replaced a FullHD TV in 13 or so odd years. I reckon $1739 is a pretty good price for a 75". I'm chuffed. JBHIFI online chat with pricebeat was a bit of a wait as I was 59th in the queue however it took 30 or so odd minutes and the person I spoke with didn't require any convincing. He straightaway added it to my cart with the relevant discount added. Chef's kiss

  • I would guess better deals are still coming.

Best deals for the C855 and C8K were in October of last year and the year before.

    • This is my plan exactly

    • yeah, the 75C8K was around $1800, should wait for 75C8L

  • $2150.40 @ HN, code EXTRA20

  • Did some online sleuthing before heading into JB Hi Fi for a price on the 65C8L. I intended on stacking the Powerland price and and -500 coupon to bring it down to $1589.
The dude in store said he could do better and would price match Appliance Central for $1550. I didn't find that price online, but considered it a win and made the purchase.

Turns out he price matched the 65C7L. Pretty chuffed as its the first TV purchase in like 14 years. Winning!

    • I got it for $1370 2 months ago. They accidentally showed me the lowest price that manager can accepted as 1385 for 65 inch c8k. I used 10 dollar birthday code and gift card after.

  • What seems to be the best price after all discount codes for the TCL 85" C8L

    • ~2.1k

      • Oh really? Could you please share where? Thx

      • Where? Best I can find is $2440

      • Let me know where, I am ready to push the button

  • I think getting the deal for $1680 should be updated in the heading, or even a separate deal - what a find!!

    • Make a separate deal if it’s from a different seller I reckon

    • Crazy cheap !

    • How do you get the 500 voucher? I ma new to this. Thanks.

I'm not sure JB hi-fi will price match including coupon therefore worst case scenario $2135 - $500 = $1635 and use discounted coupons further

      • Also no stock at Appliance Central, they have always refused me when no stock but I guess it comes down to luck.

  • I have the C855 75", does it worth it the upgrade for C8L $1650 75"?

    • Marginal difference, save the money

  • Nope
Wouldn’t do it for me once they included shipping
Will try again in the morning

    • The live chat is closed now, you must have called before 6, I guess. Rightt?

  • Pulled the trigger on JB HIFI.

    75' C8L $1,739.00 delivered.

I don't expect it too much cheaper than that. Regardless I'm very happy with the price

    • How where?

      • Price match with JB HIFI.

        Used Coupon TV500

        $1,680.00 + $59 delivery

  • How about 85 C8L for $2400? is it a good deal?

    • Yes. Got the 85 8cl few weeks ago for $2700. Great tv

    • Where you finding this?

  • Jb Hifi HQ.

    Next morning Memo

Sales…. you are selling below our discounted price of $2695 - $500 voucher =$2195 and

    Not $2195 minus 500.

Based on Australia chill standards, they probably find on Monday morning when stocks run out 😂

    • Appliance Central has it for $2,135 with no coupon. JB promo is $500 off any TCL TV over $2,000, so if they choose to price match AC then $1,635 is fully legit.

      • T&Cs clearly say "Coupon cannot be used in conjunction with any other coupon or on any negotiated price", but fingers crossed they still honour it.

  • TCL C8L series vs Hisense U7S series? Spec sheet wise the C8L is better, but does it warrant such an increased price? Does anyone know from personal experience?

I've found the Hisense 85" U7S for $2361 from Big W. If price match at JB and adding the $500 coupon off = $1861 + potential delivery for a larger screen. Not sure if good deal or not.

    • Yesterday I was in-store tossing up between a 75C8L for $2150 and U7SAU for $1501 (same panel as the U7SG which seems to get pretty great reviews). I really didn't like the Hisense's picture, it just seemed so washed out for some reason. Maybe it was the way it was calibrated but I can't really think why they'd sabotage it compared to all the others in the store. Other models that had a matte screen didn't seem to have the same issue (S90H). I decided to stick with the TCL even at that price, but then later saw the JB price match and switched to that deal.

      • Interesting, thanks for sharing. I might have to go down to the store and have a look at both.

        • Let me know if you do, I'm curious if it was just a dodgy setup at my local HN. It didn't make sense given how favourable the reviews seem to be for the U7S.

      • There are some pretty good YouTube reviews of the equivalent US tvs (U7SG and QM8L, which appear to have minimal differences to the models sold in our region). Nothing beats looking with your own eyes (provided the instore setup is decent) but I’m rural and dont get to see these tvs set up properly instore, so rely heavily on online reviews. My take home in terms of the reviewers’ discussion of colours - the Hisense U7 colours are considered more natural, and the C8L more saturated (most notably reds, which some consider ‘aggressive’), so it may just come down to which colour profile you like best. I watch a lot of sci-fi and action, and don’t mind some extra red saturation (plus you can dial it down) but most people prefer a cooler profile. If matching purely on specs the TCL is the winner, especially if watching in a dark room. But the U7SAU has that matte screen which is better for very bright rooms (provided your viewing angle is pretty narrow as the quality of the image drops off quickly) and was largely considered the best tv for its price point, at least before this weekend when Australian sale prices have been remarkably close. I was going to buy the 75 inch U7SG until jbhifi’s price matching for the C8L brought my total purchase price down to 1635 this weekend (plus an extra bump for discounted gift cards). Big upvotes to those who posted the call centre instructions for that JB price match deal.

        • I'm at store right now looking at both of them, and your summary is pretty accurate. The tcl looks more saturated and punchier. I think it's also due to the fact the Hisense has a matte panel which washes out the colour and especially the blacks.

I'm just not sure if going for the tcl warrants almost $1k difference, comparing both at 85". Hisense 85" u7s for $1500 vs tcl 85" c8l for $2440.

I asked if I can play the same video on both and was told no, that also makes comparison more difficult haha. They each have tailored videos made specifically to show the best aspects of the tv in store…

  • So I cancelled my C6L 85" order and got this pricematched by calling the sales team just then so all up ~$1754 delivered. What a friggin bargain woohoo!

    • I put some chum in the water yesterday posting this deal and then Ozbargain does its thing !

      • Chum in water, nice. We are sharks

  • Thanks for this!

I hopped onto chat this morning and asked them to price match Applicance Central, however, as they're now showing it as backorder I was told they couldn't price match it exactly. They offered a discount anyway ($2195). So $1734 delivered - very happy with that to replace my 8 year old 65" Sony Bravia!

    • Betta plus powerland still have stock but good job.

  • Would you guys recommend 75inch c8l for $1739 delivered or 85inch c7l $1870 delivered

    • How far away from the screen will you be sitting?

      • 3.5m

        • Given the price diff isn't much, and the viewing distance… my vote is on the 85 incher.

          • @JaxSantiago: Agree, go 85". But you can get the Hisense 85" U7SAU for $1500 + delivery if you ask them to match with Appliance Central at $2k and apply the voucher on top. It's a slightly better TV than the C7L, not better than the C8L though.

    • How did you get the $1870 price for the 85 inch. Thanks

      • I think it's to get JB Hifi to price match with Appliances Central which has it at $2390 less $20 with SAVENOW code.

        So $2370 less $500 via TV500 code.

        $1870.

        • Thanks

  • How does this go up against a Hisense ur8 the specs online show the tcl better but the shops are telling me ur8 is better and has 3-4 week back order

This tv is 1680$ after cashback ur8 is 2089$

  • I caved and bought one, $1739 delivered with JBs.

I've had a Samsung UA60KS8005W for about 10 years, so this will be a significant upgrade.

  • I would like to thank the Ozbargain community for this great deal.
Scored one yesterday in-store and it will be delivered today.

  • Looks like, tv500 coupon has expired. Feck missed out! Well played

  • Anyone got tips on how to get the price from yesterday or close to that? TV500 coupon has expired.
Have tried with JBHIFI live chat but no luck…

    • Same i missed also… worst feeling.

      • Check out facebook marketplace
It might make you feel better

    • I had made 2 x order . One for delivery and the other for pickup from Marsden Park. I intend to cancel the pickup, not sure if we can make it work somehow if you want the pickup item

      • Would they transfer your order to one of qld store?

        • Checked with them, as far as the store you want to pick up has stock, its not an issue !

          • @neverpayfull: Any chance you can transfer to me! Live within the vicinity of Marsden Park so if they can deliver to the house - I will contact you if still available

            • @ROTUS: I checked with them and they said they can change the store for click and collect buy if I am changing the delivery method then they would have to cancel and repurchase where he said he cannot say if the price will be honored. This is through JBHifi chat

              • @neverpayfull: Thanks for checking neverpayfull - could I possibly contact you via private message?

          • @neverpayfull: Are you able to pm me if you haven't passed it on to anyone?

  • I went into the store to see the 75C8L in action and found it horribly oversaturated. I assume it's the store setting it to Vivid mode or something…. Does anyone here have experience with this TV in their homes? Can this be fixed in the settings?

    • Change to movie tone… Standard or vivid is horrible.

  • Picked up my click and collect from JB today for $1680 (Paid with 1.5k worth off bonus point gift cards too so $1530 really)

Very happy with the upgrade from a 2016 budget Hisense
