        Unironically had a 'magic' coffee at Starbucks in Melbourne near the airport, it really wasn't too different to the Salomon wearing bearded hipster coffee from Toorak. They've upped their game!

    If you like Twilight blend or need something to get you through to another Airjo promotion, give the Aldi Lazzio Medium beans a try - you may be pleasantly surprised as I was.

      It's all I ever buy now. Lazzio medium beans, $60 Timemore C3S grinder from AliExpress, $10 french press from Kmart, poured over ice in a Yeti cup with milk/sugar/vanilla to taste. Awesome iced coffee on the cheap.

          It's been pretty solid. I was originally using a Baratza Encore, but I got rid of it because the plastic burr holder kept breaking. I thought going from an electric to hand grinder was going to be a pain, but I have my C3S set to 15 clicks, and it doesn't take much effort at all.

          I bought it from "HAVEAFIKA Store". This is the link according to my purchase history. Price looks like it's gone up since I purchased in Apr 2025, maybe wait for a sale if you're not in a rush, it might drop down again.

          I'd also recommend getting one of these funnels (the small one that's 3.7cm wide at the bottom). Makes it much easier to not spill beans everywhere when filling the grinder, especially when using scales because then you can just pour directly from the bag.

      Love the Aldi beans but now my local Aldi's stock are old and usually roasted 1-2 months ago :(

        Same here. The ones I got yesterday were all 4 weeks old. Batch number is the roasted date read as yymmdd. It was 260819.

    Is there a way to mix Arabica & Robusta?
    Do you even have Robusta beans?
    I like my segafredo with arabica and robusta blend.
