    • it wont be like that forever - plan ahead, save money

        • probably not a deal for you if you:

          1) are incapable of foresight
          2) live hand to mouth

by the next time your feet are cold, going price will be ~$80

and - you are aware they can be worn after sunset, once the temperature drops?

also - i see you have been an Ozbargain member for over 6 weeks now, punching out a solid 30+ comments a week - perhaps you can find the community your first bargain soon…or at least deliver us your first helpful comment?

finally - get outside, get off the pointless internet commentary - it's a beautiful 27C day!

    • I reckon this Bro is one more neg away from being locked out from commenting!

      • Nah leave them be, it’s good sport… probably suffering from heatstroke

  • Are these real sheepswool lined? Or poly with artful materials wording?

  • i have the slipper style, cant live without them in winter.
    can we wash these?

    • yes - use wool wash, hand wash in a bucket.

spot clean with cloth and water

and wear socks - you won need to wash as often

      • i had mine for probably 3 years never wash only put under sun after winter usage.
hmm tempted to get this instead

        • when i say you won need to wash as often, i mean never - ive never washed my boots…have washed slippers before i realised that bare feet = manky

      • You don't wear socks with uggs and it shouldn't be necessary with real wool unless you've got hygiene problems.

        • Many people have smelly sweaty feet who shower at least once a day.

Lucky for you yours smell like roses all year round!

          • @QuickToThePointless: In that case wearing them without socks will cause them to accumulate odor slower as wool is naturally breathable and moisture wicking. Wearing socks will just trap more of the moisture and bacteria causing them to smell quicker.

            • @apsilon: IMO socks is best. My feet aren’t excessively smelly sweaty either.

Are you some kind of foot scientist?

              • @QuickToThePointless: It's common knowledge regarding wool. Don't want to believe me, feel free to google for yourself.

                • @apsilon: Common knowledge amongst dr science experts in footology? It may be true in theory, but in reality ugg boots get skanky fast if you let dead skin cells accumulate in the boot itself by not wearing socks.

          • @QuickToThePointless: Chiming in, but when I was wearing normal winter slippers made from cotton or polyester, they would get pretty damn stinky. But after I got ugg boots I never wear them with socks and they don't smell at all! I guess the claimed bacterial growth inhibition of sheep wool is real? Sounds too good to be true. But I…

I have never washed them (ew I know) but yeah they don't smell at all even to this day. And yes I have sniffed them closer to test (EWWW) but yeah… don't smell a thing. And let me tell you, the slippers I used to wear, they were indeed stinky and sometimes I'd get a whiff even without deliberately testing so I don't think it's a case of just being nose blind.

            • @gurgle166: i dont pretend to know everything about anitbacterial wool properties etc but i do know that your feet shed a lot of dead cells.

over time, they will inevitably add up

I am perfectly fine with my choice to wear socks and uggies, and wont be convinced otherwise…have a good evening, friend

    • strike 2

You really do seem quite invested in a post that you made overtly clear you aren’t at all interested in!

        • Strike 3…..YOU’RE OUT!!!

Seriously kid, give the phone back to mummy - she won’t be happy you are getting extra screen time, nor using it to taunt strangers

        • if you have time to go checking up on peoples post history

You have post 1, 3 and 5 in this deal plus 4 others

Nobody has to go looking far

Think you need to get off the Internet and outside

  • Similar ugg with real wool inner layer are cheaper in Kmart.

    • Congratulations - you have hit 200 comments!

Really boosting the stats…Well done champ!

And I am Not sure I have ever seen someone collect so many negs across so many comments as you here, today!

    • Congrats - you have now cracked the ton - 100 neg votes in a single deal post… there should be a badge for that!

Now I have collected my fair share of negs round here as I can be a real d$&@head at times but 100 in a single post? damn man, you have a real knack for this!

  • Are these politically correct for blokes?

    • Yes - just make sure you order boots sourced from a ram

  • Standard Retail Price $239.99! Jesus!

    • Yeh nah, not worth that…bargain at $30/3+ winters

  • Not bad price. Aus sheepskin, always almost chinese made

  • whats with the shipping price? seems excessive.

You can lead a sheep to water, but you can’t make it drink

      • You can lead a sheep to water, but you can’t make it drink

I think the sheep featured in this deal were lead elsewhere and lied to about the water

  • I have the same style from Aldi that I've kept going for 4 years now.

The secret is to wear socks and change them once or twice a day. The other secret is to buy some of these and swap em out once a year

    • Careful friend - I agree but there is a foot scientist expert doctor on this thread who says your personal experience is heresy.

      • Well, his flower power is no match for my glower power!

    • Just so everyone knows they are not real lambswool. Could be a benefit or a drawback depending on who you are

  • Received 1st pair out of 4 ordered and these so called Australian sheepskin are not real wool
They have worded the description so you might think you are getting real Australian wool ugg boots but instead they are perhaps a sheepskin outer layer with inner layer of cheap nylon and very cheap looking glued on sole
Would be a one star review from me
About the same quality as kmart bigW target $20 ones that you find on clearance for $5¡

    • maybe they sent u wrong ones?

ive bought twice before albeit a few yrs ago

still clearly sold as 100% Australian sheepskin:

      Lining: Sheepskin Wool
      Insole: Sheepskin Wool
      Material (Upper): Double Faced sheepskin
      Outsole: EVA

  • They seem to be the same as you listed and the same as what i ordered from the Kogan .com website

Reading the description carefully they say the insole is woollen but the upper is sheepskin

A carefull play on words in the general information part describing them as Genuine Australian Wool

I think the standard would be if any normal person after reading their " Information" or "Description" of their Advertised Productt that any reasonable Adult would believe they were buying Genuine Australian Wool Ugg Boots be it made it china or anywhere else for that mater only in that it only maters beyond makes the deal believable at that price

We pulled a little of the "Wool" from the the interior upper of the boots and also from the insole at the bottom of the boots interior
Both combusted instantly when exposed to a flame Genuine Wool has Inflammable Properties
