It's not the cheapest filament around but you may need a specific colour or material type which they offer.

Mix & Match

You can mix and match any combination of refills or spools, across any material and colour.

Free shipping with 5 or more spools

Bambu Lab offers free shipping when your order includes five or more spools. That makes five rolls the useful threshold if you are already close to placing an order.

  • I miss PETG-HF

    • JAYO matte PETG is back in stock

      • Is it matt finished like the Bambu was?
I hate the glossy PETG finish, PETG-HF printed so nicely for me

        • yes it's matte

I was just having this conversation with someone else

        • Can confirm this. I've printed quite a bit with Jayo Matte PETG and it doesnt gloss like the regular PETG - also great for hiding layer lines.

On my P1S I've used a flow calibrated profile but on my X2D I use use the Bambu Lab PETG-HF profile and it prints the JAYO PETG (regular and Matte / 2.0 etc) without a problem.

    • Have you tried PLA Tough+?

  • Does work with the newsletter code btw

    • Thanks for confirming

  • I've got a heap of empty Jayo spools piled up in a corner (The new ones that split in half). Does anyone know if a Bambu Lab refill will fit onto the empty Jayo spool?

    • they should, but if it doesn't you can print adapters. You'll find the right ones on makerworld

    • yes they will fit,

      JAYO also listing refills soon

  • Are the spools easy to change?

I.e. do you just need 4 spools to use with AMS, order refills beyond that?

Also, beginners with no idea just get PLA basic?

    • Super easy. They just screw together.

Just print your own as well if need more.

    • This would be a pain in the arse for changing colours.
The refills come wound up with straps holding them together, you then put them in the spool and cut the straps.

If you just had 4 spools for the AMS you would need to secure the filament you're replacing somehow, remove it from the spool, put the new filament on the spool, then feed it into the AMS.

You basically need a spool per lot of filament until it runs out then you can refill it with another.

Someone may correct me with a better method of doing the above though.

    • Get one spool per colour.

You can remove the spool on a full roll, just make sure you get something to hold the spool together, I cut the plastic bag that came with the spool into strips and made sure I wrapped it well. It's a hassle though.

Was being stingy so bought colours with spools to use the spool for other refill colours instead of buy empty spool, ends up around $5 vs $10 for the spool.

    • stock up on cheaper Jayo filament as well for cheap filament

      • Hey there, do you have filament profiles with settings for jayo? I don't mind tinkering around with seeing but just wondering if someone has done it already. Using x2d with ams. Thanks

        • Just use bambu profiles

          Adjust from there

  • So their 45% off deal with 10+ is gone?

    • Seems that way. Lowered price of filament and lowered the discount so that it's roughly similar to the old price with 45% discount.

    • They reduced the per roll costs and adjusted the discount tiers to similar price

  • I rarely ever need to buy 10 spools at a time. Anyone Brisbane Southside can msg me for shared orders.

  • You can get Jayo buy 5 for 3 etc,

  • hopefully this encourages Officeworks to drop the prices a bit also!…
I do like the Bambu filament convenience, but I much prefer the Jaycar prices for a quick local fix!

or the siddament stuff for nice colours

    • the official list prices have dropped so the retailers should follow suit.

They won't have the bulk discounts though
