  • Where is that guy who was looking at stacker boxes yesterday

  • Been this price since this deal https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/970518 at total tools. The dividers are pretty trash cause they're full length and slotted so no room to make just one section longer. Feels like you need 4-6 drawers to make it a viable setup

    • Isn't he saying the opposite to you at 1:21 or maybe I'm misunderstanding your comment?

      https://youtu.be/qmEkW8XlZsc?si=lM_YlF0BAcYTLQCJ

      • There's a better look at the dividers here: https://youtu.be/w_wh-Iv044E?t=130

      • Yeah misunderstanding, flickit's video shows what I was talking about. Not very customisable at all to what you actually want to put in the drawers

    • I have one not this one the other one I posted

So good carry to the location I’m fixing pack up.

Might get a second one put the not so common tools in it so my current box isn’t too heavy.

      Very sturdy good plastic.

The only thing I would say is bad is the top compartment that hold small things sometime I forget to close it. Wish they had some sort of metal clasp on it so it’s visually known it’s not close.

Also I store my makita tools in here

    • Wish some of those callouts of other great buys would be posted as their own deals! So easy to miss otherwise!

As for the dividers - yep they're pretty trash. I ended up in my existing drawers dividing into 1/3 and using it for things like drill bits and screwdrivers.
BUT as someone with a 3d printer, there is some great 3d printable replacement divider / insert setups that make the usable space much more flexible.

      • With the dividers, I was thinking if you needed 6 small and one long section, the cross pieces could have 1/3 cut off them, then just glue the dividers in with beads of silicone to make them nice and secure, if it needs to be pulled apart later the silicone can just be peeled off.. At the end of the day it's a tool, not a show-piece..

  • For those who care, it's made in Israel. And for those who don't care, it's made in Israel.

    • bomb proof then?

      • I mean, they're not making it for themselves.

      • lol no but it'll ruin ed sheerans tour

It's whether or not you want your money to go to genocide or not, some care some don't. Users just inform other users. Personally I like Dewalt but I don't like genocide either.

    • Thanks for pointing it out. I never would have suspected.

    • Thanks. Almost bought it

    • Yes because they acquired a company there in 1998 and instead of spending some $300+ million moving their entire operation out of the country they just left it there. THE HORROR

You're right though obviously we should punish every company that still has any presence in Israel because they didn't fork out hundreds of millions moving factories, staff, equipment, production etc plus whatever revenue they lose while doing it, all because they happened to already be operating in a country that later did some (profanity) up shit in response to some other (profanity) up shit that happened to them. You know, something the company itself has basically zero control over

Actually (profanity) it I should hate your very existence too because you live in Australia and Australia has policies I don't like. Oh wait I live in Australia as well

Well shit guess I have to hate myself now too. Really solid logic we've got going here

      • OR…. And hear me out here….. we could not add every layer of obfuscation possible to justify sending money to a nation actively involved in genocide. How many dead kids is your threshold? Because it’s currently at 20,000, so at what number will you begin to care at?

        • I'm not sending money to Israel, I'm buying a Dewalt product from stanley black & Decker, an American company.

Yeah Israel gets some benefit because they have a factory there, workers get paid, taxes get paid, local suppliers get paid etc. But that's a long (profanity) way from pretending my $89 purchase is somehow $89 going to the Israeli government.

So yeah if I buy it Israel can take the few (profanity) cents or whatever tiny amount of tax is actually attributable to that one sale. If the concern is money going directly to the Israeli state, the vastly bigger amounts are the billions in government to government military aid, not someone buying a toolbox made in an Israeli factory.

And how about instead of acting like this is the only conflict on earth, we talk about what's happening in Sudan right now. Heard about that one? Massive numbers of people being killed and displaced, but apparently that doesn't get anywhere near the same level of outrage. Or is the outrage only reserved for this one conflict?

          • @Shiroi Okami: Firstly, whataboutism is a logical fallacy. Genocide should be condemned in every region.

Secondly, we live in a late stage capitalist society where corporations have incredible influence over government policy. Simultaneously, the only thing corporations care about is their profit/loss statement. If enough people don’t buy Israeli products such that it impacts their bottom line, they will put pressure on the government to change their policy. The 10%-20% of your purchase that goes directly to the Israeli government is only a small part of the machine.

        • Or…. and hear me out here….. I just want to buy a sturdy plastic box that I know is going to last as long I as I need it for without falling to pieces. How much money is your threshold? Because mine is currently around $100, that's a number I care about.

      • israel, their policies and treatment of palestinians, have been known since 1948. So, unless the business "acquired a company there" pre 1948…

        • Yeah because obviously nothing changed between 1948 and 1998 when Stanley bought ZAG right

That's 50 years. By 1998 Israel was already on its 27th government and 9th prime minister. Acting like it was one government with the exact same policies the entire time is just stupid

And if you're gonna bring up 1948 at least look at what actually happened. Palestine wasn't an independent country that Israel randomly invaded, it was under British control. The UN proposed splitting it into a Jewish state and an Arab state, the Jewish leadership accepted it and the Arab leadership rejected it. Fighting between the two sides then basically turned into a civil war, and after Israel declared independence the surrounding Arab countries entered the war as well

That doesn't mean Palestinians didn't get screwed over either. A huge number fled or were forced out during the war and the Arab state proposed in the UN plan never ended up being created

But going "Israel did bad shit in 1948 so a company buying an Israeli factory 50 years later is bad too" is a pretty dumb argument

And if that's the rule then better stop buying stuff from Germany, Japan, America, Britain, France, Australia, Indonesia and half the (profanity) planet because they've all done horrible shit within the same time period

        • So, they’ve done a very successful job of brainwashing us.

    • i could give less of a shit but tysm

      • So you do give a shit? Good.

        • dont care about politics dont care about israel

    • Always one that triggers a dewalt post turning into r/Australia.

    • Unfortunately won’t be able to purchase

    • Made in the USA, oh great $300 fuel prices

I am okay with Iran having nukes now

  • Here for the Made in Israel brigade who think made in china is perfectly ok because they are saints and no one would possibly cherry pick. Woops too late.

    • Comparing Gaza with Xinjiang is like comparing hell to heaven.

      • Is it more or less than Africa labours? How about Inner and Outer Mongolias?

At least Xingjiang is under China's responsibility while Gaza is under who?

        • Do you know why I compared Gaza with Xinjiang? One is a place where everyone talks about alleged genocide, while the other is a place where Western media report allegations of genocide.

  • Previously it costed only $29 for one large box.
    https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/932175

    • that was also a good deal. Those larger boxes are usually $50. This deal is quite different. Drawers are a pretty desirable and expensive tstak module to buy usually.

  • Good deal, pity Bunnies dont sell it for a price beat. The draws are usually that much on their own, though I find the deeper draw kit more useful for me. The DeWalt tstak foam insert is about $50 to buy separately!
