Not at my kids Primary school. Straight into the safety bin.
And they also discard anything that could be x-contaminated.
Then We”d receive a Sternly written letter back in the lunch box from the Principal,,,
And then they monitor the lunch box for compliance.Fair enough too, allergies etc.
