    • LOL!

      Buddy, this ain't rocket science.
The information is also within the Flybuys app itself.

  • Finally got it back after almost 2 months

  • Ty boss.

  • I stupidly bit at a spend $60 for 2000 last week and got punished this time. Leaving it until it offers $50 again

    • Same here. But I'll still go for the $60 spend this time.

      • Fair enough, it kills the point for me spending an extra $40 over 4 weeks to get back $50

  • Second time I've missed out.

The offer that just finished got $50/week spend.

And the offer before that was the first time I missed out.

Hopefully will get $50 again next time.

    • Spoke too soon. Got $50 again!

  • I got spend $60 for four weeks, get $50. Better than the $80 spend last time.

  • I was wondering when the next one of these would be. Now to check which of my cards has the lowest minimum spend.

  • First time seeing 20000 bonus points!

    • Your spend must be huge then.

    • I think its the first time i heard of someone getting that, what's the spend? $120?

      • $130 for 10,000 or $180 for 20,000.

  • Dont rush in and buy anything today, the period starts tomorrow (25th Sep, Friday)

    • Too late. Did a shop this morning for about $53, and my offer is for $50

      • My condolences.
I fell for it many years ago, and still havent gotten over it..

  • got $50 for 10k

    • same

      • *** CONGRATULATIONS *** JUST 3 MORE WEEKS TO GO!
Your week 1 qualifying shop is registered! You're a step

        for full Terms and Conditions.

  • Unfortunately I got $80 a week for 4 week.
Gotta pass after all this time of getting none.

  • offer was $150 each week for 10,000 or $200 each week for 20,000
previous to this they were $80 spends

  • Does Opal Card top up still work?

    • Yes

      • Have they expanded the number of Coles stores that offer Opal topup?
        It was very limited previously.

        • Wynyard, World square and Mt Druitt have the Opal topup. Any other?

    • Worked for me 2 weeks ago

  • Finally back down to a $50 spend, thank you baby Jesus!

    • How long did that take?

I've gone from 50 to 60 to 70 and now they want 80, so gonna pass.

      • 3 cycles

        • Cool I'll just abuse Woolworths in the meantime. They have a 3 week thing, plus $30off100 for new signups.

        • Took 3 cycles of not using account to reset to 4 X $50. Used a different account with 4 X $60 which hasn't changed..

    • How long did it take?

    • Me too🎉

  • got $70 which is fine I guess

  • After getting 2-3 offers of $50 min spend (and trying to get as close to that as possible) - I got this offer again, but now $80.
    - Any idea if that's because I spent too much (above $50)
    OR
    - If this is random and I shouldn't bite and a future offer will drop to $60 or $50

    • Yes, you spend more and it increases the requirement. I aim to get as close to $50 as I can. If you want points from additional shops: get another card.

    • Who knows really

best bet is just have another account for times like these

    • You ideally want to spent exactly $50 every week and not a single cent more. You can consider getting another card, or just simply stop scanning for a month and see what it leads to next month. Although sometimes flybuys does also reset their limits seemingly arbitrarily.

  • $60 once more. here we go again

  • Thanks got $50 again

  • Mine is the same as the last few times… $80 spend for 10,000. I just started a Woolies for 3 consecutive weeks… $80 spend for 6000. Not as good as Coles, and they never are for me.

  • I've been doing this for years. In the early days I found it hard to spend $50 but now it only takes 3-4 items and I've spent $50 easliy

    • same! welcome to inflation

      • At least we get paid 3x as much now that things cost 3x as much.

        Right?

  • Both of my accounts are up from $50 last time to $60 now. Still doable, but I might not spend on both accounts this time.

    • Mine is down from 4 X $70 to 4 X $50 after not using it for 4 months. Shopped with another account with 4 X $60.

  • got 50 on all accounts, and one account also has 1800 points by spending 30 by tmrw.

    nice stack

  • Haven't spent a cent at Coles since the last offer and now it's up to $90 for 10,000 points…

    • you need to use it a few times maybe $5 to $10

  • Mine is $110 over 4 weeks. I win!

  • mine is $280 or $330

  • 3rd round now, $60/week $50 back. Taken it up every round it’s offered, keep the receipt to $60, split transactions where we have to.

  • I’m confused. Why not simply lower the average price of essential items instead of relying on promotional codes and flybuy points?

    • Flybuy points are much cheaper for Coles to give out (especially when converted to velocity instead of redeemed for a discount), encourage higher spend/loyalty (sometimes), and not everyone cashes in on it

      • I wish prices were fair. Sometimes I wish, as a consumer, I did not have to try to stay ahead of this game. I just wish. Anyway, I do not mind. And, I will use it to max :)

    • If there is an incentive to spend more, it serves to train the customer and get them used to spending more. Once you are used to spending $80 every week instead of your old $60, feeling good because the extra is "basically free" you are now anchored to $80 being a normal spend even after the offers stop. That's the theory of it anyway, and probably works for most people who aren't too intelligent.
The average person probably adds $20 more of tim Tam's to reach the spend, whereas you and me probably figure out something long life that we actually need anyway at some point, like deodorant, washing powder, or bags of rice, so in a way we aren't really spending extra, just bringing forward future spending.

  • Damn, I must be shopping too much at Coles. Mine is spend $160 for 4 weeks

    • Switch to woollies for a while

  • Just finished 4 x $65 for 10,000. First 4x offer since Feb. Got 4 x $80 this time, Will pass.

  • I got $120 over 4 weeks

  • Nothing for me :(

  • got 50 last time, i only spent between $50-55 per week, but got 70 this time..i wonder if its because i bought $200 nintendo gift cards last week, probs shouldnt have scanned flybuys

    • Exactly the same for me.

  • Finally reset to 4 X $50 for $50🎉
After not using account for 3 cycles of 4 X $70.

Used a different account for last 4 months with 4 X $60 for $50. It hasn't changed as spent $60-67wk.

    • think the lowest base is $30 or 20?

but $50 is what i do too for online ordering min

  • Mine has increased to $80… I’ll give this one a miss

  • $110/week after multiple instances of 70 and 80

yea nah, Aldi here I come!

    • I go to WW

  • Weird as I just did a $70 x 4 (10K) and finished that 2 weeks ago. Only bit on the $70 as hadn't had one for a while. Normally I just pass and wait for lower offer. Anyhow just got $50 x 4 (10K), go figure ! How it does it's algorithms i don't know.

Tip: Spend exactly what they offer not a penny less. Been doing it for years and over the time period I've done well out of it.

    • I stacked with other bonus points and now it requires me to spend $100.

      • That's nut. During this 4 peroid i sometimes get a spend $70 for say 3000pts or something. That week i spend the $70 and like double down.

        • From my observation, they offer extra bonuses to help people get started usually with a slightly more spending requirement. Then they might throw another bonus on the 3rd or 4th day. After that, there will be no more on the next 3 weeks.

          • @bcYield: Yep ive already been offer in the 1st week, Spend $70 and 2000pts. May do it meaning just that one week will do $70 and then $50 following weeks. Another 2000pts, all builds up. I guess.

  • $50 x 4 again, let's go!! Thanks OP!

  • Just completed 4th week last week and have it again this week!

  • Spend $100 in one shop.

WW allows multiple shoppings to prove No Push Spending. I'll skip Coles.

    • WW EDR offers about 15% back in points. Coles Flybuys offers about 25% back in points. I'll skip WW unless they up their game.

      • Depends on your case, people receive diff offers (targetted gambling) from $50 weekly spending to $200 or so.

        For my current cases, Coles needs me to spend $100 weekly on a single order over 4 weeks to get 10k points, meaning 12.5%;
While WW asks me to spend $65 weekly on multiple orders over 3 weeks to get 6k points, meaning 15%.

I will stick with WW to support No Push Spending.
Ideally I shop at both, one for the midweek shopping and another for the weekend shopping. This way I can have my fresh products all long week long as fresh meat and veggies only last 2-3 days. I might drive a bit further to Aldi for a stressless shopping.

  • 10,000 points or 50$ . Which one is better?

    • Always points. Then transfer to velocity for flights.

  • 60 60 50

  • $180 x 4 for 10,000 pts LOL.

    20,000 pts if I spend $230 a week x 4? No thanks.

They did send me spend $170 for 6,800 pts 2 weeks in a row which I completed but WW just sent me spend $65 x 3 for 6,000 pts so I'll switch a roo for a few weeks.

  • not on my app… ah well, guess i pay full whop for

    https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/976126#comment-17920810

  • $120 x4 for 10k points lol smh

  • Can payment be made through Coles gift cards and it still counts as a $50 spend?

    • yes

but if you have coles plus saver you have to spend $55.56

if you don't have it, you should get it anyway as it costs $7 and you will get at least an extra $11.12 of groceries as long as you use it once in September and once in October (then cancel)

  • Pass on this one. I got $110 min spend for 4 weeks!

  • I’m now chasing status credits on VA so spending more on Coles.
Historically was $50, now is $110/week.

Woolies will give me 28,000 points if I spend $260/week to “match”

    Advantage in this round: Coles

  • Just got another offer for 1000 points/$50 spend so can stack both

  • 230$ shop at each week, f off

  • Anyone left out like me?

  • Does anyone know that if buying prepaid sim is counting towards the spending requirement?

    • yes it's eligible
