XD I bought Sparks of Hope (SoH) because it was on sale last time and Kingdom Battle (KB) wasn't. Not minding SoH, but looking forward to trying KB. Going to pick up KB now, but maybe I should still just finish SoH first if I'll enjoy KB more afterwards.
Lots of other stuff on sale too
From memory kingdom runs 60fps on switch2 and spark 30fps. Unless it's changed.
I loved kingdom on the switch but found the frames rate/framepacinf of spark on switch 2 too jarring to play through.
Sparks sometimes drops to 20 fps
didn't know Ubisoft developed a Mario game.
Sadly seems to be the reason why it's the only Mario game that ever gets a good discount.
Did they make any noticeable improvements for Sparks, or better to just get the first one?
Main changes in Sparks: no movement grid (you move freely within your range in battle), and a semi-open world with a map and side quests instead of Kingdom Battle's linear levels. Kingdom Battle is tighter and runs smoother on Switch 2. At under $9 each I'd just grab both.
Is any of this 2 player couch coop?
Apparently KB yes, SoH no
Just finished Sparks of Hope 2 days ago, was great! a lot easier than kingdom battle though. When sparks was first released it was laggy and choppy af so I didn't buy it then, bought it onsale a few months ago and I didn't find any problem this time, no noticable/jarring lag or choppiness now. Great, easy, chill game for the price.
