Went today to Canberra to have a look, think the deal ends tomorrow (assume they’re open for the public holiday?)
Apparel for men’s felt like 70% hooded sweatshirt or zip up jackets, with a rack of short sleeves jerseys and one of trousers. Usually find a number of shirts etc in the sales, but this one felt like they were offloading the winter stock to me. Could be that I’ve just gone too late into the promo but.
Plenty of shoes as usual.
Theyve got a lot of decent competition much cheaper from China. Nothing to do with woke.

The line to checkout at Harbour Town Adelaide this afternoon was wrapped around the entire store, easily 50+ people in the line. The socks were also 30% off, not 50% off.

I wish I could tell you, it was honestly so busy I wasn't in there for very long there was just people everywhere and clothes all over the floor but all the shoes seemed pretty well stocked.

I went Friday, a bunch of resellers emptied all the good things within 5minutes. They all had huge moving bags! It was pathetic and ugly.

Nike peaked when Jordan's were a Tiktok trend and every teenager, young adult and even corporate would wear it to work. Since then it's just been a horrendous decline.
If you ever want to see a more perfect but saddening reflection of the state of our country go head into one of these stores and see the way the average person treats others and the shop. Every time I go into the Uni Hill location the amount of people who just dump things on the floor or over racks, don't put their shoes back, let kids run rampant spreading disgusting germs, licking coat hangers and just blindly pushing and shoving with zero spatial awareness is astonishing.
Adidas shares are also down about 50% over the past 5 years.
Maybe it's nothing to do with being woke and it's more to do with consumer behaviour, emerging brands and access to cheap chinease imports.

Birkenhead point had decent stock this morning, vaporfly 4 in quite a few colourways, pegasus premium, zoom fly 6 (only in yellow for men’s sizes). Even had some alphaflys for $105 on the back wall but were mostly US 12+

Yep! Very very few men's still available (and all in terrible colours) but heaps of Women's at South Wharf.
