  • Well, according to data from CamelCamelCamel, this product sold at that or around price about 50% of the time over the past 12 months.

    • Yep, pretty much every second week it is $38.88.

  • Aussie review and Teardown

    https://goughlui.com/2026/02/09/review-teardown-novoo-rg100-…

100W good for around 20-30 minutes then when it heats up output drops to under 75W. Fine for things that draws 100W occasionally. Pretty good compact power adapter.

    • Thanks I was going to buy it. What is a good brand that stays consistent?

      • just keep in mind its probably a good safe thing that it drops back when heating up.
You are balancing things like how compact it is vs heat dissipation.

I have a UGreen Nexode and it has something called "ThermalGuard" temperature control and fairly good reviews for the price if you get it on sale. However it too will use that temp control to throttle back for safety if required. Some devices also start to throttle themselves as the battery nears full (e.g. 80%+) for its protection.

The UGreen range has good reviews on Amazon, 1 day delivery, and is currently 29-36% off RRP (as they often are)

However Novoo is often the value pick. If you want continuous 100W, a bigger charger would probably achieve it like a cheaper 140W that will still throttle rather than a larger more expensive 100W (e.g. 140W throttling back to 75% will still be at 105W)

However I wanted a compact one that was a balance suitable for travel and everyday use and not waste money on two chargers - so I guess it depends on your priorities.

      • I got the Belkin https://www.harveynorman.com.au/belkin-boostcharge-pro-100w-…

I chatted live to HN. they price matched this online store with Click & Collect.

        https://www.pbtech.com/au/product/TAABEL6671990/Belkin-Boost…

But just saw has it even cheaper here

        https://www.myithub.com.au/wch016auwh-belkin-boostcharge-pro…

It is a good little powerful unit and doesn't get warm.

    • I’ve never seen it drop although I don’t think I’ve ever had it draw the full 100w for 30 minutes, only used to charge power banks and laptop - by that time they’re usually already 80% and slowing themselves down.

  • Not really a deal as it is usually around this price lol

  • Got this for around $37, still going strong. Very good for travel when you don’t want to cart around a full 200w+ one.
