Seems a bunch of the Bosch bit sets are on sale, both Green and Professional. I personally use the 43 piece screw bit version of this Professional series kit as an experienced DIYer and it's really good reliable quality. This particular set is useful if you have a double brick or brick veneer house.

      The camel camel camel price history link above seems to show it being well under $30 for a good while now.

      I think amazons “typical price” number looks at the last 90 days, so I’m not sure it’s totally accurate, but doesn’t seem far off

        If anything I'd expect that this recent price behaviour is an aberration rather than the norm - just look at the price history of any other Bosch Professional bit set, which almost all consist of a constant high price most of the time, with intermittent sharp drops for a couple of days and then back to the high price.

        I have been trying to buy a second set for a year but could never catch the right timing to get the price drops, so this extended period of price drop for this particular variant was very helpful, but again, expecting it to rise sharply again.

  Relative to other masonry bits or normal drill bits (which you'd expect for any decent masonry bits)?

  I guess if they are at least as good as the basic Frost or Sutton masonry bit sets then $20 is pretty good.

    The masonry bits appear to be Bosch CYL-3 which seem to be decent bits.
