  • Mine's showing as $5 🙁

    • Same $5

    • I have multiple accounts but only got $4 or $6, no $5

  • I got an email for this offer and in the app, but at $6!

  • $7, $7, do I have any bids for $7?

  • $6 here.

  • Two emails @$3
    Three emails @ $4
    Two emails @ $5
    One email @ $6

    • This guy knows

  • $5 here

  • How is the fried chicken burger? Never tried it

    • yeah - I want to know this too !!

    • I've had it once and didn't rate it highly. I typically stick to the beef burgers at HJs and chicken at KFC. YMMV

    • It was pretty underwhelming, a bit better than a mcchicken. If it was $2 or maybe $3 (and I was hungry) i'd bite.

    • It reminds me of those frozen Tegel chicken burgers you get from the supermarket but with less flavour.

    • I rate it to be honest, not gonna lie. The real secret though is to ask them to cook it fresh, and always add cheese. If you can get some condiments from KFC or Macca's before you go HJs, you can turn it into something really quite spectacular.

Every one I have had fresh comes out moist and juicy, I always change the sauce though, the mayo doesnt cut it at all, and having it with stock mayo will lead to the feedback above IMHO.

Nandos sauce will be a winner, and you can always head in there and ask for some sachets of mild peri-peri (free) or just buy a tub of perinaise to make it epic!

Edit: And the chicken patty is nothing like a McChicken patty or the frozen brand our friend above has mentioned. Like I said it is always moist and juicy when made fresh, and it is literally 1 and a 1/4 inches thick most times. It would be more comparative to a McSpicy patty without the spice.

    • It's decent, the chicken meat is big and juicy. But the sauce and bun is too sweet imo.

    • About 10 times better than the McDonald's chicken burgers. Quite good.

    • Took a couple of pictures of the Spicy JFC I had the other day. Ordered it fresh and +Cheese. Actually looks like real meat!

Pro tip: It's even better if you order it with the Peppercorn Mayo.

      • It makes a big difference when it's real meat instead of all the fillers and junk that others put in.

  • Hmn, my app's borked today. Uninstalled, reinstalled. Cant get it to load. Alas, Bacon Deluxe is my go to.

  • i got a free coffee and $4 burger

    • Are you a regular at HJ?

  • They also added 6 nuggets and large chips box for $4.95…

  • Tried the fried chicken. So disappointed vs the bacon deluxe…

    • I tend to go for the fried chicken over the Whopper these days as it actually feels like real meat. I jazz it up a bit with cheese and spicy or special sauce, and @ $3.70 a pop I cant really complain.

I actually sharted last time I ate a Whopper TBH, and I am somewhat confident (after losing confidence) that the beef is really Soylent Green!

Take it or leave it :p

  • No vego substitution for this one for anyone interested. Might work if you ask at the counter?

    • Minus'ing the ketchup and mayo and adding a different sauce (spicy/special etc) will cost you 40c somehow. To rub salt in the wounds, its 20c on the self-service register? Musical Chair pricing…

Luckily when I requested Ketchup at the counter they gave me a few sachets for free, otherwise I would have showed them the Whopper receipt and requested my Ketchup back (or on the side). I like to add ketchup to the Chicken Royale, it makes it next level! :)

Used to be able to have it 'your way' at HJ's, now you can have it any way you wish, just @ an exorbitant cost!

Good luck requesting Vego, id dare say they will sting you $2.50 for the Veggie Patty from my experience (even though you removed $2.50 of meat)…

      • Haha yh you're not wrong the way things are going.

  • Real deals don't have variable pricing

    • Real life is like a block of chocolate. Ya always know what you're gonna get.

    • Ratio'd but completely fair argument. I agree.

  • Mine was free, thanks OP

  • second time I've tried that jfc chicken burger - lacking flavour. I wish they brought back that grilled chicken burger..

    • They brought it back, but they didn’t bring back what made it special - that bun…

  • Paying $2.50 for Whoppers or JFC…

The process is a bit hit and miss, but what you have to do is create a fresh account, do the shake and win, buy the prize, then check the 'rewards' section straight away for whatever NEW voucher you get (It seems to be a roulette sometimes, or changes weekly, but on fresh accounts I get $2.50 Whopper or JFC almost always after the first purchase)

Edit: The 25% off Red Rooster discount is the winner IMHO, and the food quality is 10x better than Hungry Shat's. Using it very regularly, minimum $10 spend, so $5 off $20 is very bliss!

    • Wow thanks for sharing the hack! Some might feel cumbersome to be creating new accounts…

      • I use GrapheneOS, which allows for 32 profiles (so 64 spins a day theoretically).

I only need to use 6 profiles ATM as I find 12 spins is enough to get what I need. Usually ill go the free Chicken Royale, $4 Whopper, or if I am feeling like an extra chin; the 2x Whoppers for $10 to unlock the $2.50 Whopper/JFC.

I dont do the birthday whopper, it could be setup to get 1 free Whopper a day (even 2 if your extra keen) if setup a week in advance.

  • I have two accounts- $4 on one and $5 on the other. I know which one I'll be using!

  • Really don't understand why people prefer bacon delux over whopper. Bacon delux is small, its always mushy like microwave burger…I don't get it…

    • Based on price it's currently JFC>Bacon deluxe>Whopper. So value wise you're probably better off getting the chicken or Bacon Deluxe
