I wanted 1 gram of general purpose grease to fix my taps. This costs the same as a small tube of general purpose grease from Bunnings. I will now look at other things I can grease. Maybe I will coat the underside of my coffee table legs so I can fling it around the room.

Also Spheerol LLM grease discounted too: https://www.amazon.com.au/Castrol-Spheerol-LMM-Grease-450ml/…

    • My 6 year old said "grease me up woman" to my wife today when she wanted to put sunscreen on him 😂

      • Parent achievement unlocked.
        You should be so proud

  • Thanks Op grabbed a tube for my pole.

  • not the lube I was looking for, but the lube which will for work for me

    • U must not like your partner.

  • Op should really be looking for food-grade grease rather than this stuff to use on their taps.

    • Fair go, what I meant was my bathroom sink pop up drains. Not at all a tap - idk what I'm smoking, good call

      • 👍

      • Even then you should probably shoot for a waterproof grease, GP grease doesn't hold up well in contact with water and will fairly rapidly desoap and disintegrate.

        • Also considered, but the good news is with this tube I can replace it 450 times!

  • Any good for use to regrease guide pins in brake calipers?

    • Yep no worries

    • Meant to use silicon based that's heat and rubber safe. I just use the spray, though there are special greases.

    • Need silicon grease for brake pins, takes high heat and doesn’t damage the rubber boots. supercheap has it for $10 tube.

  • Won't ship to west vic by the looks.

    • Can't be trusted with grease out there I assume
