    • You know no one is forcing you to sign up to that, right?

      • Half of OzBargain complain about entirely optional things.

        • Its a warning to people not a complaint

      • Thanks for telling me something i already knew.
Its to warn people what a crappy shitty bank this is

  • Wow, will be 6.25% for new customer!!

  • The old phone app worked okay.
In order to access or even view a savings booster account, you need to use their new app. It really sucks hard. It's like they got a completely different developer who refused to keep any of the existing workflows and wanted to reinvent the wheel (along with associated bugs/defects).
Or shall I call these irritating interface things "features" that nobody asked for.

    • Yeah so firstly it has a 5 digit pin, (different to your 4 digit pin from the previous app for no reason at all) and if you forget it, you have to delete the app and reinstall it, no other options despite previously alllowing fingerprint log in.
I'm bailing when the old app expires.

    • You can have both apps installed at once.

  • The new app for Android is so ugly and bad to use considering it is a bank worth so much meanwhile Ubank just moggs it and when I am interacting with the bank mostly using phone it has to be a more pleasant experience, Ubank being a subsidary of NAB is so much better UI and UX experience than ING

    • For some reason it ignores your nicknames for accounts, it is baffling somewhere deep in the new app I was able to see the nickname but for some reason all my accounts now have the same name. And now when I name a joint account it doesn't also name my wife's joint account the same lime it used to. The website still works the good old way. So strange

  • They earn money if you want to transfer out at the end of the month

  • Bad app

    • An app doesn't fall from the fee

      • ..or far from the fee

  • So after 4 months, you move your money back?

  • Trash app and trash CS after my exp with a past promotion

  • Great deal to get 6.25% I'll sign up in 7 days.

    • I was wondering if we can start anytime during the month or only on the 1st to get the full 4 months worth of the promo rate.

  • Can anyone please advise if ING requires existing customers to take a selfie to open a new Booster account.

    • I didn't have to when I opened a Savings Booster account.

      • Thank you. Was it recently? I thought I had seen a comment from someone not long ago saying it redirects you to the app and asks for a selfie as if you were a completely new customers. But I cannot find that comment now.

        • I opened the account Savings Booster account about 2 weeks ago.

  • For those who already opened a SB account, just wondering if you can have multiple SBs similar to Saving Maximisers?
Because when I read the T&C, it seems like you can transfer money from one SB to another SB.

    • No benefits as u dont get extra interest if u max out u first acc. Booster is separate to maximiser which allows an additional 500k

      • yeah, that's what I also think
