Recommended ISP - Telstra ADSL2 reseller?

My exchange (Leura NSW) only has Telstra DSLAMs.
Can you recommend a good ISP that resells Telstra services inexpensively with adequate performance?
Prepared to enter into a contract and bundle phone if needed as long as line rental and call rates are OK. Currently with iinet.
Thanks OZB.

  • I'm using Exetel. They are quite cheap, or at least were a couple of years ago when I last checked. Everything is good as long as you don't have any problems. If you do, their support is not very good and if you complain enough they'll just cut you off. Or so I've been told.

  • I use spintel as I have a telstra exchange, here is a link to there page
    http://www.spin.net.au/products/broadband

If you decide they are for you there is a $25 refer a friend link which gives you and me a credit

    https://my.spin.net.au/referafriend

    here is that page

I find there service to be good and follow up to be good and have used them for about 18mths.

  • Here is a list of Telstra ADSL network operators and respective plan prices
    http://bc.whirlpool.net.au/bc/?action=list&type=network&mediā€¦

If you click on each, it will tell you whether or not it has exchanges in Leura.

    • I've used whirlpool plenty of times in the past, but their ability to search for Telstra resold plans is dire. Even in the link you sent there are various naked plans that are not available on Telstra re-sold links. Hence the request for recommendations.

  • You should consider the Telstra Family and Friends deal, $80 p.m. Bundle 200gb data and Unlimited Local Calls and Telstra Mobiles

  • Had a similar problem in the area of North East Vic we currently live in.
Was with Exetel before we moved and they promised everything but just jerked me around for 3 weeks and ended up doing nothing.
Long story short: ended up with SpinTel. $50/mo for 20GB and line rental on Telstra, on a 12 mo contract.
They were pleasant to deal with and definitely the cheapest I could find since you have to have a Telstra line and that adds a premium.
    Hope that helps

  • Yep Spintel for me, I have telstra exchange and have home phone, broadband and voip with them, very happy
