  • Is blackbelt a good brand op?

    • <insert joke here>

    • Been taking 10g/day of this creatine for the past year or so and it's legit

    • Yeah good to go

    • After one of the mid sept deals I asked them about the testing and got a reply saying the could send me details and evidence it was tested but that was 3 weeks ago now and crickets since then.

Makes me suspicious of their claims about it being third party tested and that

      • They're waiting until they get jacked before tackling that keyboard.

    • It’s better than red belt apparently.

  • The bag seals back up easily and the scoop is long enough to prevent my autism flaring up touching the powder.

    • My bag has the worst seal of any bag I’ve ever used.

      • How does that make you feel?

      • You clearly haven’t ordered anything from Premiumsupps before then. Horrible seals on the bags, my partner can’t even do it up properly.

      • I bought a bag of NAC from bulknutrients that had the same bit on both sides so it couldn’t be sealed at all lol

    • On a more interesting note, the flare up may in fact be mitigated by the powder. This is by correcting probable methylation deficits due to exogenous creatine freeing up the huge methylation burden to produce it endogenously.

  • Thanks OP. Purchased!

    • My guy, did you read your own article before posting?

    • Not sure if rage bait but creatine is basically the most well supported supplements to take

Here is one of the many systematic reviews of creatine effectiveness in muscle growth
      https://link.springer.com/article/10.1007/s40279-015-0337-4

Not to mention the other linked benefits
      https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/abs/pii/S05315…

A systematic review trumps a single trial.
It's important to look at the whole body of evidence rather than considering the results of one study.

    • That study itself concludes that a higher maintenance dose may elicit greater results so tripling their dose might actually be why they can read Shakespeare in foreign languages.

As far as I'm aware, it's been known for a while that creatine doesn't necessarily help you build more muscle like anabolics do, but instead fills your muscles with more water and improves recovery between sets leading to better performance and therefore, potentially small gains in muscle development over long periods of time.

    • The article summary of the study states "More research needed on creatine doses", in very large, bold letters.

How did you reach the conclusion that creatine is a con, based on this study?

    • I love the commitment to come back and get rolled again and again in the comments after continuously getting shut down hard on every creatine post lol.

      Bros post history is entertaining

      • The anti creatine lobby must be paying well!

        • Big creatine, makes cents.

    • The 'Creatine Mafia' stole my baby :(

    • Sounds like you need some creatine

    • No Shakespeare required - just the conclusion section. The authors suggest that a maintenance dose >5g/day may be necessary to augment lean-body-mass growth. That's quite a leap to "creatine is a con".

Shake more (creatine), less hypertrophied conclusion.

  • Anyone tried this and the cyborg sport one and can compare?

My use case is in my morning coffee, so best dissolving is ideal.

    • I have this one with water and it mixes very easily - taste is average enough though I never have it by itself normally.

    • i am testing the cyborg one now, it has a very fine grain, but it still goes straight to the bottom of my glass of water, so i have to constantly stir it while drinking it, and then have to rinse the glass and drink the leftover creatine stuck to the sides. Haven't tested it on hot beverages

      • Hmm I'll probably give cyborg a go first. Previously used focal nutrition and that mostly dissolves in my coffee with sometimes a bit of grit at the end. Thanks all!

      • Even their "Instantized" one is like that. It's much finer than even the micronised but still doesn't totally dissolve. I'm switching back to just standard micronised. Creatine is Creatine.. so long as nothing else is added it's the same base chemical no matter where you get it from.

  • The review isn't that promising. My only concern it doesn't dissolve well.

    • Just dry scoop it and chug liquid with it or mix it in with your protein powder.

  • Just buy from Bulk Nutrients and eat the delivery cost.

    • so pay almost the double the price of this plus delivery? wot.

      • Yeah, sorry. I was reading the 250g price as the 1kg price. I probably would anyway because of the lack of forthcoming response that a poster previously mentioned. I'd just cut back a bit on my mercury filled illegal useless peptides.

  • Let’s get SWOLE bros.

  • Great price, got this at the previous sale.

It's creatine, all the same, all comes from China unless you're getting creapure which is trademarked and not worth the price.

The powder is pretty much the same texture and consistency as Faction Labs 100% Pure Creatine Monohydrate from CW.

Chug it with your protein powder, that's what I do.

  • $34 Glycine: if anyone wants another supplement to try/tinker with…
    https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B0CKWTBLK3/

    • Thanks mate :)

  • What are the benefits of it? Asking as a couch potato.

    • Appears the main benefit is not shrinking your balls and not causing you to grow breasts. The downside is it's much worse performing at growing muscle than the good stuff.

    • Creatine helps with energy, strength, muscle growth, and performance, while taking it as a supplement gives your body more than it can naturally get from food alone.

  • Bought, thanks.

  • Is this still worth it with $7 delivery? What other supps are on special atm to stack with to reach free delivery?
