  • been this price for more than a year. got a set a few months back

  • Is this a good alternative to buying Ryobi battery if I get an adaptor with it?

    • For sure, been using ozito batteries with Ryobi whipper sniper, tile saw and multi tool without any issues

      • Hi, can i ask which adaptor you are using?
Just looking to use my one for the drill.

    • Yes, that's what I use them for.

    • Yes! I have a mower that takes 2 batteries. I use one ryobi and one ozito with adapter and they work well together.

  • Got excited for a sec, thinking, "I can buy some more batteries I don't need for my huge collection", but then realised this is no deal…just the standard pricing… :-(

  • anyone know the difference between the battery in this post vs these ones? (PXTBP-240)[https://www.bunnings.com.au/ozito-pxc-18v-4-0ah-battery-twin-pack-pxtbp-240_p0590313]

the one in the post seems to be newer, slimmer and cheaper while the PXTBP-240 is slightly bulkier and more expensive. anyone know if theres a performance difference between them?

    • The standard 4.0Ah uses two rows of 18650 batteries while the sealed 4.0Ah uses a single row of 21700 batteries.

Here's the full run down of the specs

      • BTW these aren’t the sealed batteries, just more compact batteries with 21700 cells.

        • My mistake, looked like them in the thumbnail.
          Very similar profile though.

  • Ok so, Bunnings is clearing some brands as part of clean up eg Bosch einheimm own ozito, einheimm is global and ozito is local au. Are we heading to seeing a lot of einheimm at buninnigs and ozito being less of a Bunnings flagship ?

    • Einhell*

      • a German manufacturer known for DIY power tools and garden machinery

        I thought it was Chinese

  • The sealed ones for a bit more hold better value I think.

  • How many 4ah batteries do people have ?

    • 6 x 4ah
      2 x 5.8ah
      1 x 2.5ah

I did a fairly serious DIY renovation and had a large block so needed a lot of tools and was at Bunnings every other day for nearly a year. Most batteries came in kits. I only bought the 5.8 twin pack without a tool.

I also have a bunch of dewalt gear with 4,5 and 6 AH batteries. Plus some old Ryobi stuff.

      • Same situation, renovation, large block, Bunnings, OzBargain deals… you just accumulate them over time.
I got to the point of having house batteries, shed batteries, toolbox batteries, even a spare in the car for the inflator if I ever need it.. with its own 12v car charger

        • I have a couple in my work car. you can get jumpstarters that use ozito batteries. have jumpstarted a few people with it successfully.

          • @ProlapsedHeinous: Just one of the cheap ones from Aliexpress? The cables look suspiciously thin so I have been holding off.

  • Waiting for 8ah to go on special!
