  • Can this connect direcrly to fttp?

  • Most routers have exposed antennas. Not this one? For aesthetics?

    • It looks very nice. Like Netgear's designs

      • Yeah I saw the picture and thought "Nice! An AP I dont have to hide in a cupboard (and thus lose more signal)".

  • OP what does it mean with a mesh system if you only have 1? Are you meant to add more later or can you just run it with the single router?

    • The mesh system isn't relevant to a single unit, but it can accept additional mesh nodes in the future if you decide to expand.

    • You can add another Asus wireless router (doesnt have to be the same model) to extend wifi coverage (ie this at the front of the house, another at the back of the house or 2nd level) if wifi signal is weak

      • Oh wow thanks for the info! Never knew mesh system could be from different series of routers. So say if I buy a Wifi 8 Asus router in the future, i can just mesh it with this one? Does it also need to be an Asus mesh router or do they all have that function?

        • Must be Asus. It's called AiMesh and works flawlessly.

  • Cheaper per item to get the 2 pack or 3 pack

    • If you need 2 or 3, yes.

I think the real deal here is the 3-pack with the $50off latitude deal making it $272 which is a pretty solid price for a 3 pack WiFi 7 mesh setup.

  • This Vs Flint 3? Which one is good

    • I'd be keen to understand this too …

  • Only 2 Wan/Lan ports is a poor design.
NBN box takes one, Desktop and NAS take another 2.
    Need at least 4 ports.

    • Add a switch for more?

  • Outdoor model also on sale $169

  • Thanks, OP. This prompted me to check the price of the BT10 (1-pack) and got it for $499. It's going to be my main router meshed to 2 BT8's.
